This is Juneau. He is a 1.5-2 year old Great Pyrenees/Shepard mix. He was found wandering our apartment garage in Houston, Tx. We moved to Wisconsin the week after we found him and did not have the proper time to vet foster families, so we opted to bring him with us. Our decision to rehome him was not an easy one to make, but we ultimately decided it would be unfair to him if we kept him in a 1200 sqft apartment. He is a good boy, loves his toys and being outside. He has some separation anxiety (howls for about 5 mins after we leave - but settles down and sleeps rest of time). We would be happy to go more in depth on his story for those who are interested!

Meet Snow! Age: young Weight: 90 pounds Good with: Dogs and cats (I haven't been around any kids yet, but I could do well with older, more respectful kiddos) House trained: yes Crate trained: I'm not really a fan of crates, but I'm a good girl, so I don't need one. Special needs: I recently had knee surgery on my left knee, but luckily my right knee didn't need surgery. I will just need my forever family to continue to monitor my knees to make sure they are A-ok! Because my breed tends to be strong and stubborn, Guardian Breed experience is preferred. I will also need a fenced yard. I'm a beautiful young gal who turns heads wherever I go! Everyone tells me how pretty I am and I know it. My fur is literally as white as snow! I love going for walks, so a family who will take me on walks would be wonderful. I probably shouldn't live in an apartment because sometimes I use my voice, and given my size, it can be a big voice. Plus, I can be protective of my house from time to time, but I'm young and if someone commits to working on me with that, I'll learn that visitors are always okay if my family says so and invites them in. Once I know people, I love them. All 90 pounds of me! But I like my space too, so if I need my alone time, I'll let you know with a little grumble to let you know "not right now". I'm a great car rider, and I'll never be too big to wear clothes, and I'm nice to fur-friends, too! I'm hoping my forever family is out there to let me love them and love me in return! She is incredibly affectionate and has quickly bonded with her foster mom, following her around wherever she goes! Selina, with her adorable white chest, has a bit of a special story. She has a fractured ulnar and radial bone in her left front leg, which is about 5-6 weeks old. Thankfully, the injury has healed quite well, but she still needs a few more weeks of restricted activity to ensure a full recovery. She'll be on light duty for the next 6 weeks, but she's already showing signs of being an amazing companion. She is super smart, loyal, playful, and such a sweet girl. She is off leash with a great recall. She doesn't want to leave your side whether you are doing barn chores outside or hanging around the house. She really is an awesome dog with a great disposition. Special needs guy with a wobbly walk! It doesn't seem to bother him. Hank was found in some bushes in TX, emaciated and wobbly, of course. He has put on some weight and has an appointment with the neurologist to see if we can get an understanding of the reason behind the wobbles. But the theory so far, is that he had parvo as a pup and that had a neurological effect. He is happy and snuggly and LOVES to be outside. He would love to have a farm to "work"...or at least pretend! He's very sweet and gentle and loves to be loved on!
