Story
Everett came to us as a stray from animal control. He was wary of people. He has been at the Happy Hounds Prison Dog Program for several months and has done very well! Everett is a really great dog and should be somewhere he can have a large fenced yard to play in and patrol. At first we thought Everett was a farm dog, but the husky in him does not make him suitable for farm life. Everett needs to form a bond with his person/people. He doesn't tolerate strangers and will alert them that they are unwelcome. Everett is truly a working dog whose sole purpose in life is to protect his people and property. He is not a social dog per se except with his owner(s) and family members. Because of his protective nature, he would do better in a home without children. If you are looking for a dog to protect you, your family, and your property, Everest is your boy....AND he's housebroken and obedience trained! Anyone willing to take a couple of days to bond with Everett will find out what a special dog he is; VERY loyal. He's a beautiful, smart, sweet boy that we think would love to have a family and home of his own. Please spread the word about Everett so he can have his forever family soon! Everett is ready to be adopted. Whoever adopts this beautiful boy will need to understand that it will take a little time to bond. Once that bond is created Everett will be the perfect dog. He will protect the family and property, Update from his trainer: Week 24. Not much more to say about Everett. He a Pyrenees and needs a furever home that understands the breed. He bonds strongly with his people in about 2 days. He will always be a guard dog (in his DNA). He will always protect his people. He knows are his commands and cues. Everett is a very humble and observant dog especially to strangers. He does guard his "space". He is not actively involved with any other dogs. No issues with toys or food. He's more of a guarder around his "home". Overall, Everett is a great dog as long as he acknowledges their trust which has to be earned. He knows his commands/cues like sit, down. He isn't destructive and a good leash walker (unless he sees something that distracts him). He is particularly annoyed by trucks for some reason, so a fenced yard is a must.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Maggie Moo is the sweetest gentle giant you will ever meet. When she first came to us she was afraid to be touched and had a list of medical needs needing attention.  She has had an awful beginning but now is Fiercely Loved and the happiest most grateful dog you will ever meet. She loves people and he eyes light up everytime she sees her human. She adore kids and is gentle, but is a big girl so might accidentally knock over a tiny human on accident. She is crate trained and house broken but LOVES her people and would love to nap at your feet all day. No small animals she sometimes runs after things that run, but she does redirect easily for her human. Story
Jack is in need of a loving home. As a middle-aged male, he may not have the same energy levels as younger dogs, but he makes up for it with his sweet and docile nature. He is content with a more relaxed and inactive lifestyle, making him an ideal companion for those who prefer a quieter pace. Jack's easy-going personality makes him a pleasure to be around, and he gets along well with other dogs. His gentle nature and friendly attitude make him the perfect addition to any family. Despite his age, Jack still has so much love to give and is patiently waiting for someone to open their heart and home to him. With his sweet and lovable demeanor, Jack is sure to bring joy and happiness to whomever is lucky enough to welcome him into their home. This dog is sheltered in a foster based, nonprofit rescue. Story
This handsome guy with a few cute curls is looking for his forever home. He is bonded with his foster mom and doggie sister, but I feel he will adjust to a new home with a little time and patience. He hasn't had much socialization so is timid meeting people but quickly warms up and gives kisses. Jake will make a fantastic pet for an active individual or family. House & crate trained. NOTE: If both him and Joy are adopted by the same people, the second dog's adoption fee will be 1/2 price. **Any questions about Jake, please contact his foster mom at: (989)313 - 4874This dog is sheltered in a foster based, nonprofit rescue in Crossville, TN.
