Story
Clover has been our family dog since we got her from a breeder at 8 weeks old. She loves attention, cuddles, and room to move. She is house trained and leash trained and loves spending time outside. We now have a one-year-old daughter and are unable to keep up with Clover's needs. She is great around kids but sometimes is not aware of her size (98lbs). She is food-motivated (not food-aggressive). She potentially has an allergy to chicken but have not confirmed the cause of some recurrent ear infections (have been treated). She is spayed and current on vaccinations. Clover would thrive where there is another dog she can play with. She has a big heart and we will be sad to see her go, but this is the right decision to give her a better life amid our growing family.

Story
✅️Currently fostered in South Korea✅️ Meet Yeoreum💕(It means summer in Korean) * Toward People: Likes people, but lacks sufficient familiarity. Is not used to be petted, but she would open up to people if they pet her often and gently!🩷 * Toward Dogs: Has a good relationship with others! Gets along well with other dogs.🥰 * Separation Anxiety & Potty Training: Does outdoor potty at the Adogs center. 💌Special Note💌 We are unable to determine the extent of separation anxiety and potty training as she is still living in a center environment with group living. ❗Rescue Story❗ Yeoreum is one of the dogs that Adogs rescued from a dog meat farm. Even though she had the terrible memories of witnessing other dogs being killed one by one in a dog farm, she overcame it and is doing good at the Adogs Center.

Story
ntroducing Sanggeun, our lovable furry friend! This charming pup is a people-person through and through-ready to soak up all the pets and attention from anyone, including strangers! However, when it comes to little ones, sudden movements and loud noises can startle him a bit. If children are calm and gentle, he's happy to hang out. Although he's not a fan of being carried or lifted up, he's a big fan of canine companions, especially smaller or similar-sized dogs. He's a true protector, but only when needed-stepping up if other dogs are too rowdy or aggressive. Birds? Squirrels? They definitely catch his eye during walks, but with a bit of leash training, he's working on his focus. In terms of energy, he's got the perfect balance-loving outdoor adventures but a total zen master indoors. While he might tug a little on walks, once he settles, he's an excellent leash follower. Busy streets can be overwhelming, so quieter spots are more his style. No guarding resources from people, but he might issue a gentle growl if other dogs get too close. When it's time to travel, he prefers a cozy crate in the car-helping ease those nerves and avoiding any car sickness. One thing's for sure-he's a potty pro outdoors only! Basic commands like sit, stay, paw, and eye contact? Nailed it! And did we mention he's a sucker for ice cubes? If you're ready to welcome this gentle giant into your heart and home, reach out to our team today to make him a part of your family! Story
Welcome Athena to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 2-year Great Pyrenees. She weighs about 90 pounds. She has a beautiful coat and the typical extra back toes commonly found in this breed. This is a guardian breed dog. They naturally will protect their flock or family. This breed will do best in a fully fenced yard as they will roam away if there is no fence. She is good with other dogs and will need some more leash work. She would be great with someone that knows the breed and loves it. She should have the natural tendencies of this breed. She had puppies and we adopted them out. We also adopted out the larger male that was found with her as a stray. She would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. She is up on her vaccines, healthy, spayed and ready for her forever home. She is currently in Texas anc can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpal.info/ See her cute video!!

Story
Welcome Sadie to CCPAL foster Program. Sadie is a 5-year-old Great Pyrenees and maybe Mastiff dog mix dog. She was gotten to be a livestock guardian and while she likes livestock, she does not feel the desire to guard. She is a house pet. She is what we call a couch potato. She does not get on the couch in her foster home, but she is laid back and very contented to lounge. She knows sit, doesn’t jump up, good with dogs, good with cats, good with kids, potty trained and ready for her forever home. She loves to sun herself outside and will dig a small spot to lay in. She would be good as an only dog or with other dogs. She is more of a companion animal over the outdoor and hiking type. She weighs about 70 pounds. She is vaccinated, spayed, heartworm negative and a joy to have around. She is being fostered in an environment that is loud, has lots of animals and new people all the time. She is very calm in this environment. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 if you have any questions. Please go to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com with questions. You can get an application online at www.ccpalrescue.org
