She has had an awful beginning (hense the limited profile) but now is Fiercely Loved. She adore kids but is a big girl so might accidentally knock over a tiny human on accident. She is crate trained but LOVES her people and would love to nap at your feet all day. No small animals but she does redirect easily for her human. I am also a dog that needs some space and I love to have room to roam outside. I did not come to FOHA with a lot of information, but they think that I may not have lived much time in a home. Some of the things in the home can scare me like the TV. So I will need to be in a home with no kids because the activity may be too much. I should also not be on a farm with small livestock. I would like a yard and outside space to explore. Apartment and condo living is not a good fit for me. I would do well with a family with Great Pyrenees experience who understands the ins and outs of my breed. I can use some training to help me be the best me! Odin is a truly handsome, young, 88 pound, Great Pyr boy that was born 1/2/23 and is looking for a family to love and chill with. This big boy is fully grown and is the so very easy going and good natured. He was raised with his brother Thor on a country property owned by a senior lady who has come to realize that both the brothers need homes where they can be an inside dog and part of the family. She cannot provide that and so is now willing to let each one go to separate families that might have children (he loves children) and to be a part of maybe even living with other dogs or cats. He is good with everyone he meets and all creatures. This boy is not housebroken as he has never been inside for any length of time to learn the rules and the signals for potty breaks. He is a loving and easy dog to have around and we want him to become a part of a family life that offers him a big dog bed and lots of love and guidance. He is good with meeting new people and doesn’t bark excessively at all. He will bark if he is bored outside in a pen. He plays nicely and is fun and happy. Buster is about 13 weeks old and is a Great Pyrenees mix. We have no idea how big this puppy will be full grown, but he is already a big fluffy boy! Buster is in a foster home with dogs, and he is great with everyone he meets. He is young enough to learn to live successfully with cats. Buster is a typical puppy who loves to explore his surroundings and enjoys running around the backyard with the resident dogs. Buster enjoys snuggling on the couch, chewing on doggie bones, giving puppy kisses and learning about life:) Baby puppies will require the adopter to be at home a good portion of the day to continue training - no exceptions! This puppy is up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped and will need to be spayed at the age of 6 months. The Adoption Fee for this puppy $400.00. A refundable spay/neuter deposit will be added to the adoption fee for puppies and kittens. ***Please note, this pup's immune system will not be fully functioning until about 16 weeks of age and therefore, s/he is not suited for Apartment/Condo living or Town homes without a private fenced yard and will not be able to go to public places where s/he could possibly be exposed to the germs of unvaccinated dogs, such as PetSmart/PetCo and dog parks until s/he is 16 weeks old*** ***You must be at least 25 years of age to adopt from CKRescue*** The adoption fee for this dog is $400, which helps with the cost of routine vet care.
