Story
Doll and Duchess are bonded sisters who must go together. They are super sweet and gentle dogs who are very self-sufficient but need lots of land to run and play. By self-sufficient, I mean they have access to food and water all day long but do not over eat. They currently live on a farm with goats, cats, and other dogs and do great with all of them. When the weather is appropriate for them to stay outside, you can leave them out while you go out of town for a couple days and they will be fine with shelter, a tub of food and water. They are gentle with our 1.5 year old, don't jump on him, just lots of kisses, they know sit and come. They may need a little time to warm up to other dogs but are not aggressive, may just coward at your feet for a day or two at first. Doll loves to come inside at night and cuddle all the humans, if allowed. Duchess prefers to be loved on outside where she can stay cool and run. They were rough rescues but are in perfect health now and looking for a home.

Story
Approximate Age: 6 years old Approximate Weight: 56lbs Meet Francis, the foster dog who lives up to his nickname - "Fancy Pants Francis". This 6ish-year-old gentleman is known for his overall chill demeanor, but don't be surprised if you catch him doing tornado spins while joyfully tossing his toys in the air because even a refined man such as himself needs to have some fun from time to time. Francis is very friendly with other dogs (and cats!) but, for the most part, walks past them with his nose in the air, because they should be so honored to be in his presence! Francis is currently in search of a nice and quiet home where he can feel comfortable. He is the perfect combination of independence and affection, often finding his way onto your lap for a few minutes of snuggles. It's important to note that Francis may exhibit some stranger danger in the home, so introductions should be approached slowly and cautiously. He has bitten people in the past when they enter his home. However, outside of the house, he has no issues with strangers - his protective nature is solely dedicated to the King and Queen of his castle. Side note, sometimes Francis has issues with cars- he must protect the kingdom from the UPS driver!! A few sprays from a water bottle and he will retreat back to his domain. If you are a patient and understanding adopter, Fancy Pants Francis would be thrilled to become a part of your family. He promises to bring joy, snuggles, and plenty of memorable moments to your life. So why wait? Consider opening your heart and your castle to this fine fellow today!

Story
Say hey to CJ. CJ recently was in foster care for 7 weeks and thrived in the home environment. He is house trained, very enjoyable to walk on leash, and gets along well with most dogs. CJ has a warm, calm, and affectionate disposition and loves his morning and afternoon walks through the neighborhood. He knows basic commands, is playful, and loves to chase squirrels. At times, he displays some "Marmaduke" behavior which brings laughter and joy to his foster parents. He is an easy and wonderful companion.
