Story
I rescued him from a shelter in 2018 when I was single, and he quickly became my constant companion. We lived a very active lifestyle together—walks, hikes, runs, and lots of camping—and he truly thrived being involved in everything I did. He is a loyal, loving dog who does best as the main focus in the home. He has been great with our kids and is gentle with them, but he does need consistent attention and engagement from his people. He has a nice balance of being calm at home while still having plenty of energy for outdoor adventures. He loves being outside and is happiest when he’s active. He is very loyal and naturally protective of his people. He does well with familiar dogs once friendships are established but does not enjoy dog parks due to overstimulation and does best with calm, respectful canine interactions. Since having children, my husband and I no longer have the time or capacity to give him the level of activity and attention he deserves. This decision comes from love

Story
My name is Winston and I am 1 year old Great Pyrenees. I was born a dog, I live like a dog but for my mom I am just a baby! I have two brothers, Bernese Mountain Dog and crazy Golden retriever and even tho I love them so much-I get jealous and overprotective over mom. So mommy thinks I would be the best dog ever if I am the only animal in the family. I can feel mommy is really heartbroken, but she said this would be the best for me and my brothers too. If someone can give me at least half of the love mommy does, half of belly rubs, the same amount of treats as mommy does…I would still be the happiest dog ever! Because mommy gives too much of everything to all of us. Sometimes I thinks she forgets that daddy exists. It would be wonderful if my new family have yard! Or if they take me on regular walks, it doesn’t have to be 3 times per day like mommy did. I love kids because they give the best belly rubs everrrrrr! I promise I am really smart dog, I just need you to be patient with me.

Story
Luna is a great dog. She’s super sweet and loves being petted and all kinds of attention. She’s 7.5 years old, we’ve had her since she was about 1.5 years old. Her breeder was abusive and neglectful and she was rescued by a family that couldn’t keep her, so she found her way to us. She’s been amazing for my mental health, which was the reason we originally got her. She is spayed and has no health issues. There are a few reasons we need to rehome her. First, our son is showing signs of asthma and the dust and fur she naturally brings into our home don’t make it any better. Also, our family has grown in the years that we’ve had her, and that means we’ve grown busier. My job is busier and my spouse is getting a graduate degree and, combined with kids activities, Luna just isn’t getting the time and attention she deserves. Because of this, she’s acted out a little with barking more, getting protective of her food, and being slightly less patient with kids (warning growls mostly).

Story
Meet Bailey – The Unicorn Great Pyrenees Bailey is a breathtaking 10-month-old Great Pyrenees who truly checks every box. Fully vetted — including gastropexy — she’s healthy, ready, and already set up for a safe, happy future. And here’s the magical part… Bailey is the unicorn Pyr. She loves everyone. Two-legged. Four-legged. Even cats. Yes, really. Bailey has the gentle, loyal heart that makes Great Pyrenees so special, but with a beautifully social, easygoing personality that makes her a joy in everyday life. She adores children and would absolutely thrive in a home where she can play, watch over her little humans, and be part of the family fun. A big yard to stretch her legs and soak up the sunshine would make her happiest. She would love a doggie friend (or two!) to romp around with, but she would also soak up being the center of attention if that’s what her family prefers. At 10 months old, Bailey still has that youthful playfulness, but she’s already showing the calm, devoted nature that makes this breed so incredible. She’s affectionate, friendly, and ready to love her people with her whole fluffy heart. If you’ve been searching for the perfect Great Pyrenees — the one who gets along with everyone and fits beautifully into family life — Bailey might just be your dream come true  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 7, 2026, 4:10 pm
