Story
Meet Lola Great Pyrenees / Pomeranian Mix (YES… you read that right… a Pyr/Pom ) Lola is one of those once-in-a-lifetime pups — absolutely stunning, fluffy, soft, and unique in every way. But her beauty is only part of the story… this sweet girl has an even sweeter heart. Lola is kind, gentle, and loving, but she can be a little shy at first. She’s the type of pup who may hang back for a minute… watch you… decide you’re safe… and then quietly become your most loyal little shadow. Once she trusts you, she truly loves her people and wants to be near them. Lola is looking for a patient, calm home that will give her the time and reassurance she needs to fully blossom into the confident, happy girl she’s meant to be. She will thrive with someone who understands that trust is earned with consistency, kindness, and a soft voice. &#226&#156&#168 Lola’s Highlights: About 1 year old around Valentine’s Day Fully vetted Great with other dogs Good with cats Good with kids Sweet, gentle, affectionate Shy at first, but deeply loving once comfortable If you’re looking for a truly special pup to love and grow with — and you’re willing to let her go at her own pace — Lola will reward you with the kind of bond that’s pure magic. Story
My name is Winston and I am 1 year old Great Pyrenees. I was born a dog, I live like a dog but for my mom I am just a baby! I have two brothers, Bernese Mountain Dog and crazy Golden retriever and even tho I love them so much-I get jealous and overprotective over mom. So mommy thinks I would be the best dog ever if I am the only animal in the family. I can feel mommy is really heartbroken, but she said this would be the best for me and my brothers too. If someone can give me at least half of the love mommy does, half of belly rubs, the same amount of treats as mommy does…I would still be the happiest dog ever! Because mommy gives too much of everything to all of us. Sometimes I thinks she forgets that daddy exists. It would be wonderful if my new family have yard! Or if they take me on regular walks, it doesn’t have to be 3 times per day like mommy did. I love kids because they give the best belly rubs everrrrrr! I promise I am really smart dog, I just need you to be patient with me.

Story
Meet Andre – The Big, Goofy Lovebug You’ve Been Waiting For!Andre is a 105-pound 7 year old Great Pyrenees/Husky mix with a larger-than-life personality and an even bigger heart. At his core, he’s a goofy, cuddly, attention-loving boy who just wants to be near his people—whether that’s following you from room to room or flopping over for belly rubs (all four paws in the air, of course!).Andre has excellent house manners and is both house-trained and crate-trained—just say “kennel” and he happily heads to his favorite cozy spot. He knows commands like sit, down, and place, and is very treat-motivated, making him a great candidate for continued training. While he’s generally low-energy around the house, Andre does have bursts of excitement—especially on walks or when something catches his attention. He’s currently working on leash manners, as he can pull when excited, but he’s making progress. He enjoys daily walks, playing tug with his rope toy, and batting around his favorite “fishing pole” toy.Andre is good with cats and does well with children. With people, he may take a moment to warm up, but a treat quickly wins him over. He can get vocal when he sees or hears something outside, and may bark when visitors arrive, but he responds well to guidance and settling cues. He’s not the best fit for dog parks or high-energy dog interactions, as he can get overwhelmed and unsure how to channel his excitement. However, with the right match and introductions, he may be able to live with another calm pet. What makes Andre truly special is his lovable, slightly goofy charm. He’s been known to stop people in their tracks just to admire how handsome he is—and once you meet him, you’ll understand why. He gives the best “side eye,” loves a good sniff of anything new in the house, and will happily soak up all the affection you’re willing to give.Andre would do best in a home that can provide structure, patience, and continued guidance—especially around managing his excitement. A yard and a family who can help him feel secure and understood would be ideal. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, and entertaining companion who will keep you smiling every day, Andre is ready to be your new best friend. All CAWS pets are fixed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Andre’s adoption fee is $200. Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-served basis—we focus on finding the perfect match for each animal.Ready for big love from an even bigger heart?Apply to adopt Andre here: http://caws.org/adoption-application If you are interested in adopting a CAWS pet, please fill out an online application at https://caws.org/adoption-applicationApril 9, 2026, 6:40 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. When we saw so many dogs in need, over 100 Pyrs in a hoarding case in NM, we wanted to help. Apollo was the worst case of Lupus out of the boys. Had lived on a chain his whole life. This beautiful, sweet and gentle boy has been in his foster home for several weeks now and has made so much progress! His foster family has learned so much about him.  Apollo is a quiet, for a Pyr, gentle soul. He definitely prefers women, his foster mom is his favorite and who he is the most comfortable around. Other family members are ok but she is the one who gets the snuggles and loves! Apollo lives next door to several neighbor dogs. It has taken him a while to get used to them barking at him, and some he is still afraid of. So this sweet guy needs to be in a home where even the neighbor dogs are friendly towards him.  He is totally house trained, has been from the moment he got to his foster! He is also a dream on a leash! Apollo is respectful around kiddos but they are a bit overwhelming for him. So a home with older kiddos or none would be preferred.  He also really might enjoy a nice, calm, confident female doggo to play with. He's had a couple of play dates and he's really come out of his shell! Apollo needs a patient forever home, where he can continue to progress at his own pace, with a family who understands dogs from hoarding situations can take time.  Apollo is being fostered in Utah.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 11, 2026, 1:51 pm
