Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Sheba is guessed to be around 6 years old. She absolutely adores people and can’t get enough attention!  She’s good with other dogs who are submissive and give her space. She encountered kittens and paid them no attention. She also doesn't understand her size so small animals should steer clear.  She is a certified fence jumper! She can clear a 6' vinyl fence! What an athlete, this girl is! Not to worry, she can easily be walked on a leash or put out on a zipline as long as she isn't left alone. She is a good girl in the home alone if you need to run errands! She has been bounced around from home to home and in and out of shelters where she shuts down. We found her a temporary foster with moments left to get her safe and now she desperately needs a forever family! This girl can't seem to catch a break and she needs her very own HERO! Are you going to be that HERO for her?    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 3, 2024, 5:23 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Kuiu (Mia) and her sister Timber were found as strays after they had been on a waiting list to surrender to a shelter. Not sure what happened to them but a foster stepped up and they found themselves in rescue! Mia has a lot of energy and loves another dog to play with! No chickens!! She loves people and affection! She's a very smart girl. Although she hasn't been an inside dog she seems to have house trained herself, by not going to the bathroom in her pen. If she was to become a house floof she would hopefully pick up house training quickly! Mia needs 6ft secure fencing, this girl has been known to jump a fence or two! She is being fostered in Utah.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 3, 2024, 5:23 pm

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Big, beautiful and so sweet! Everyone who meets Theo instantly falls for him! Theo's owner up and left him with a friend who then was going to be evicted for having him. We had a foster step up but with all male dogs, she wasn't the right fit. Theo is now in a foster home in Southern Utah and doing great!  He's been neutered, chipped and is current on shots. He loves to go on walks and is doing better about pulling when he sees something exciting! He is an expert snuggler and loves all the attention he can get.  Theo is a pro at zoomies and he makes his foster mom laugh every single time! He's still a puppy and does like to chew so be prepared to have things he's allowed to chew on! He's doing great with neighborhood doggos and is really just a big 'ole love!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 12, 2024, 1:12 pm

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. This boy is a miracle! He was so fortunate to be found, in the middle of nowhere in Utah, by some very kind people who would not leave him there. Got him to the vet who said he wouldn't have lasted another day. Shot and attacked by coyotes, we have no idea how he got there or how long he'd been out there alone. We called him Amos, Famous Amos after his story made the news. A wonderful foster stepped up and took amazing care of him, nursing him back to health. They called him Iroh and that name has stuck with him.  He has recently moved to a foster in MT to work on a few house manners and finish getting ready for his forever family.  Iroh was just neutered and had a cracked canine removed. He's growing his hair back and gained all the weight he needs to cover his ribs and hips! He's playing with dogs at the dog park, learning to be good with the cat. He loves his walks and is good on a leash. He adores people and all the attention he can get. This sweet boy will just melt your heart and be a wonderful member to any family!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 12, 2024, 7:35 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. When Bonnie was picked up by animal control wandering along a highway in Utah, she would've had no clue that in just a few short weeks she'd be facing a death sentence. Seems that the shelter was so stressful for her all she wanted was to get out or have the other dogs leave her alone. Since neither was really an option, she became urgent! This is how Bonnie came to GPRRUM and a lot has changed since then, she has since been adopted and returned, due to no fault of her own. She now finds herself in an absolutely wonderful foster home and is ready to find her forever home, this is what her foster mom says about her..... Bonnie is an absolute joy and one of the most low maintenance dogs you will meet! She came to her new foster two months ago and a quiet environment with a regular routine has done wonders! The first couple of weeks were an adjustment with her foster brother. Bonnie wanted a safe, dark space (in this case the guest bedroom) and growled at her foster brother the first few days when he came in. After a week, they were getting along swimmingly and sleeping in the same room together. Now Bonnie initiates play with her foster brother at least once a day (generally before their morning walk). Bonnie weighed 107 lbs when she came to her foster home and with daily exercise and a healthy diet (all natural people food, think the Farmers dog) she has lost at least 10 lbs. She loves her daily walks (about an hour each day) but would probably be fine with less. She is one of the laziest dogs you will meet! -loves to sleep -good with bathing and having her nails cut -loves to eat (she and her foster brother wait for their food together but she will bark or growl if he trying to take over her “food” territory -does not chew or have separation anxiety. -Very independent. -Likes to dig once in awhile -is a Pyrnees and likes to patrol the perimeter and notify her owners of any “danger” - not a fence jumper! - great with people and pre-teens. - great with younger kids- unknown- hasn’t been exposed - very good with medium to large size dogs WITH a proper introduction -small dogs unknown. Has encountered a few and ignored them. Thought one was prey. Again a proper introduction is crucial for any dog. Bonnie would do best in a quiet home with a regular routine. Although she likes to carve out her own private space, having owners home more often than not will give her the security she needs. She is being fostered in NV, transport is available.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 6, 2024, 5:05 pm

Story
Who says good things come in small packages? Sometimes they come in big, furry bodies with eyes that will melt your heart. My name is Andre. I am a 5 year old 85 lb. teddy bear, and my goal in life is to snuggle all the people and collect all the treats. I may be a Pyrenees mix or just a mix of a bunch of adorableness. I'm desperately searching for a family who needs a pup willing to walk with them, play with them, protect them, and snuggle the loneliness out of them. I am a super smart guy who would love to learn more than basic commands (I know sit, touch and down). I need to learn the nuances of living in a house with my beloved humans. I'd make an amazing emotional support pup because I almost NEED to be around my humans. I mean, what happens if they need a snuggle and I'm not around? I'd do best in a house with a fence, and I would probably struggle with small children because I'm a bit pushy when snuggles and treats are involved. (Of course, training would also address this!) I'd love another big dog who enjoys wrestling and playing tug. I'm confident, affectionate and really fond of people. If you think you might have room in your home - and your heart - for a big sweetie like me, let's meet!Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $200. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hello people!!!  My name is Deena and I am anxiously waiting to start my holiday adventures with my forever family.  I am a 3 month old Great Pyrenees female puppy.  I do really like play time and adventures.  My foster mom says it sometimes is more mischief, but I prefer to think of it as adventures.  I'm a big girl who LOVES her food and everyone else's too.  hehe.  I crate trained myself as soon as I figured out that I got to eat sooner if I was in the first crate.  I use a dog door to come inside and explore and go outside to play and potty.  I do still need supervision if I have access to lots of rooms in the house.  I also really like sleeping on soft blankets.  I can be a little intimidated by new things at first, but I'm learning to be braver.  This includes both people and dogs.  Once I am comfortable, I am a big love bug.  I love playing with all the other dogs here that I know.  I have only been around cats a little, but I mostly ignore the barn cat who occasionally comes to visit us.  I am a BIG girl and already weigh easily 35 lbs.  I will likely be a fluffy, 100 lbs adult.  I am bred to protect and love my family, whether that family is sheep or people.   I really hope that someone will want to share their holiday adventures and love with me.  Please apply at Rescue Rovers ASAP because I'm ready to get started. Story
If you are looking for a gentle family dog, that resembles a fluffy cloud with the floof of a polar bear, you have found him! He is incredibly dog-friendly, can catch a ball in his mouth, has wonderful house manners (including being house-trained) adores kids, and is great on leash including walking beside a stroller. The list could go on and on. I am enamored by how easy his company feels, familiar and so comfortable. Plus he is so darn handsome! You can see more including his love of a ball and his gentleness with kids. https://youtu.be/hASd1s9EqFk Franco has been fortunate to spend his time waiting for his adoption day in the home of a loving family. This is where his love of kids was discovered. With a newly crawling baby in the house it was clear that he understood gentleness and peacefulness were important and he delivered! This is how we know that he is quiet in his crate but will occasionally let out a little wooowooooo, a cuter than cute sound. This is also how we know he loves toys, understands the difference between his toys and the babies, and likes to carry a toy in his mouth when he goes outside to go potty. This is the kind of happy, easy boy who you will look out the window and see laying peacefully in the grass, with his toy and the sun shining on him. Heavenly! He has an easy-going nature and dreams of a family of his own to spend forever with. If you are looking for chaos and wild, Franco here is not the one for you, his entire being exudes gentle and calm, love and warmth. Best described as a couch potato, the opposite of busy or wild. Estimated to be 3 years old, weighing a perfect 79 lbs, this boy is carrying a big loving heart and all the traits of an adoring, loyal dog. His demeanor and look lead us to believe he is a Anatolian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix but breed and age are details we cannot offer 100% certainty, given the nature of him being a rescue. We can absolutely guarantee Franco is a heart-warming face with a gentle nature. One of my favorite things about is how peaceful his presence is. He is quiet company that feels like you have always known. Franco’s sense of good-company is seen with other dogs as well. We introduced him to a handful of new dogs to gauge his playfulness and friendliness with other dogs and we saw the same- friendly and easy-going. He was at ease and made connections with a variety of dogs, big and small, showing so much patience to some extra pushy and excited new friends. He has recently been accepted to a doggie-day-care program and comes home with A+ report cards! Franco is definitely dog friendly but does not need dogs to feel happy. Being a solo-dog would be no problem for Franco, he is at peace with just the company of his people. The only no we know is Franco needs a cat-free home. We feel confident his eagerness when introduced to our house cat was friendly but his size would be a bit much if he decided to chase the cat or even jump up to get a peek of him. Given his size and nature, we would love to see Franco in a home where his natural pace is welcome. A house with a yard though apartment/condo life is not off the table, a loving family, a playful but mellow-friend is welcome but simply- the good life. I can’t imagine many homes Franco wouldn’t be well suited for. He is going to show up and feel like he has always been yours. Plus, you’ll often have what looks like a polar bear skin rug on the ground when he is resting, very chic! If you can guard his big loving heart and keep the love coming his way, he promises sweetness, adoration, and loyalty in return. So, if you're looking for a four-legged friend who's sheer presence is calming, charming and one who has a golden-good heart, Franco is ready and available for adoption! Questions? For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast.
