Story
We rescued Rocky after he was left in a ditch as a baby and wanted another companion for our other Great Pyrenees and our kids. He’s a beautiful dog, great with kids and lots of personality. Unfortunately we have a smaller yard in town and he has an escape artist who can’t be left unsupervised in the house either because he is a puppy and chewing up everything. He is mostly house trained, but still a little confused with rugs and carpet so will need some work on that still. He needs a good home with room to roam and a secure fence but will be an excellent pet for someone, especially a family with kids who want an active, playful dog.

Story
Meet Wyatt This lovable cuddlebug is all about affection and adventure. He adores long walks, enjoys car rides, and is gentle with everyone he meets. Wyatt has a luxurious golden coat you’ll love running your fingers through. He’s fantastic with kids, small dogs, and even cats, though he can be a little shy around bigger dogs at first. House trained and crate trained, he’s the perfect mix of sweet snuggler and easygoing companion ready to steal your heart. Wyatt’s looking for a home that loves a little silliness, a lot of fur, and a whole lot of heart.

Story
Oliver’s story is nothing short of remarkable. He was rescued from the side of I-45, scared and scruffy, but has since blossomed into a soft-coated, golden-furred lovebug who is ready for his forever home. At 2.5 years old and weighing around 70 lbs, we've taken all the hard work out raising a puppy. One of his siblings was DNA tested and came back 67% Great Pyrenees and 33% German Shepherd, and that mix fits him perfectly. He has the gentle, affectionate nature of a Pyrenees paired with the loyal, people-focused personality of a Shepherd. He even sports a cute curl in his tail. No double dew claws here, just extra charm. Ollie’s favorite things in life are simple and sweet: • Being close to his people • Soaking up affection • Giving gentle, soulful love He’s the kind of dog who leans into you, quietly asking to be loved, and once he trusts you, he’s all in. Oliver would thrive in a home ready to offer consistency, affection, and room to grow into the incredible dog he’s becoming. If you’re ready for a meet and greet, kick off the process with an application at www.flyingbrescue.org/adopt. Our application is thorough but there are no right or wrong answers - we just want to make sure you and the pet are the perfect match. Once we receive your application, we will schedule a phone interview. Our adoptions include a 2-week trial period with fully refundable adoption fees during that period. If you are located outside of Texas, we offer transportation services and have happy families as references. We value transparency, so don’t be afraid to ask us anything.
