Story
Mavis is a sweet friendly 5 month, 35lb, Great Pyrenees. She's a bundle of playful puppy energy, a quick learner, treat-motivated, loves giving kisses and being with her people. Mavis is dog-friendly and would thrive in a home by herself or with a confident, youthful/playful, and/or patient dog mentor to show her the ropes. Kid-friendly: 8+ Mavis is working on basic training, including potty training and commands like; stay and wait. Though already mastered: " Sit, Shake, Drop it, and No." She's also learning how to interact with cats and walk nicely on a leash. Her new family will need to be patient, understanding, and committed to her continued training. She'll do best with someone who is home often and experienced with her breed. She'll also need a secured fenced yard. Mavis is UTD on Vaccines: Rabies, Bordatella, DHPP and has been dewormed. She's on heartworm/flea/tick prevention. Adoption fee: Is used to offset vet visits, vaccines, and medicine.

Story
Bear, or as we call him Bearlito, is a pretty special guy. He is loving and very relaxed. I adopted him from the shelter when his owners lost their farm. He is crate trained and loves to lay in the sun. He is a gentle giant who loves laying with our kiddos and snuggling in bed. He is allergic to chicken so we have him on a fish based food. We are relocating for work and we will be living on a boat. Bear is not a fan of water / swimming. He also needs a solid fenced in yard to be happy. Anyone would be lucky to have Bear as a member of their family.

Story
Lucy was a rescue. She is part Great Pyrenees, but do not know the other breed. She was born in January 2024 and we adopted her in March 2024. Currently 8 Months old. She is very sweet and loving to our family, however, she has severe anxiety. She is not aggressive, and has not bitten or nipped - but she can get over-excited or have spontaneous behavior, which is causing an issue with two very young children getting knocked over or stepped on. She has a prescription for an anti-anxiety medication, and needs someone who will have the time to help her rehabilitate and get her anxiety under control. She is currently afraid of going on walks in the street or sidewalk, but will run and play in our fenced backyard. She is kennel trained, potty trained, and knows basic commands. Under guidance from our Vet, with her medication and care Lucy would be a kind and caring addition to your household but we do not currently have the time or ability to care for her the way she deserves.

Story
We call her Almond because of the brown almond shape on her forehead. She is a sweet dog, about 60 lbs, almost 1 year old, and loves to chase and chew her toy (or anything left on the ground.) She is a little dominant towards our smaller dog, but is never aggressive towards him, our cats, or our 3 year old, even when she gets in her face or pulls her hair, etc. We have had success teaching her to sit, stay, wait for food, shake, and she is house-trained. Really, the only downside has been her barking at deer and people walking by the yard or trying to run after deer on walks, although I have made some progress with her. Please reach out if you have any questions about Almond. Willing to drive anywhere around the Austin area.
