Story
Bernie has been with us since he was rescued as a small puppy roughly two years ago. He loves to play with our other small terrier mix, and he does very well on walks and when we take him to the dog park. We have three kids in our home, and he has done well around them and other people. He does require a strong owner who knows how to handle large dogs, and he will need to be reinforced to be gentle when he is fed sometimes. We must let Bernie go because I have generalized anxiety, and his demeanor is not conducive to my condition. I also work from home, and Bernie barks any time the door is rung or he senses someone approaching. He is very stubborn, and getting him to calm down can be challenging. Bernie loves to be with or near his family. He LOVES to get on the couch and in bed with us. This can be challenging with his size His best home would be somewhere that he can bark and play more outside, and where his owner can handle or appreciate his alertness.

Loves kids, adults & dogs She is ready for action or couch potato time. She adjusts to her company. Affectionate & loves to snuggle Sits & leash trained Housetrained & crate trained Enjoys walks, car rides, playing tug-of-war, wrestling & playing chase with her canine companions. Zoura's adoption fee is $150. She is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, she is heartworm negative, she is on heartworm preventative, & microchipped with HomeAgain. Senior blood panel with urinalysis along with teeth cleaning & a cyst removal was completed in 8/2022. Sweet boy is a part of a litter named after the World Series Dodgers team… He is located in Arlington in a foster home with his litter mates. Wonderful with kids, cats and dogs of all sizes, with thrive with doggy companionship. Once you submit an application and you are approved can set up a meet and greet.

Sweet girl is a part of a litter named after the World Series Dodgers, she was rescued with her litter from the Mansfield shelter… We are not sure exactly what she is mixed with. Once you submit an application in you are approved we will put you in direct contact with Foster to set up meet and greet.

Please read the bio & email the address listed in the bio.   Additionally for CATS you  may email  JShelton@eulesstx.gov and for DOGS, email trinitygapclub@gmail.com       Meet Legend!  What a big bundle of pure joy.  If you love big Mutts and you cannot lie, you have got to meet Legend. He is a 11 month old Great Pyrenees  mix who has never met a stranger. He came into the shelter with his brother who has been adopted.  Legend is still growing and going to most likely be close to 100 pounds.   He’s currently on medication for growing pains. Legend is gorgeous, and anyone meeting him will fall in love. Legend is a happy boy who is very busy and will need a home where he will get plenty of exercise. When left alone he will need to be crated. He‘s definitely not a farm dog (hates chickens) and currently lives in a foster home where he loves to hang out on the couch. He will require supervision in the home and can be destructive when he’s left unsupervised.
