If you would like more information about Rosie or are interested in adopting her, please send an email to katy.luciana@gmail.com or contact this number, 713-502-0516 Hello! My name is Rosie. I am a beautiful, chill, almost 7 year old Great Pyrenees. I need a home because my human passed away suddenly last month. I miss my human and would love another person or family to bond with. Here are some notes about me from my human’s family: Rosie gets along well with people and with most dogs; she will sometimes display dominance behavior with other female dogs, but she is never aggressive. She will bark when other dogs are barking; otherwise, she is not an annoying barker. She is housetrained but not crate-trained. She doesn't chew up things in the house. She has never been around cats, so we don't know how she would be with cats. We have all of Rosie’s vet records since she was a puppy, and all her vaccinations are current. Rosie is currently in a temporary living situation with a family in Kingwood, TX, but no one in our family is able to provide a permanent home or longer-term foster as we already have all the pets we can care for. We can take her within a 6 hr radius of either Houston or Austin easily and are happy to pay transport costs for a good home farther away as well. Story
Elsa keeps getting even cuter as she grows! She’s a fast learner who has mastered the “sit” command in order to get a treat, which she loves! She loves playing in the backyard, especially watching and chasing after squirrels! Elsa promises to keep you safe—she makes sure to let herself be heard if she hears any weird noises that you should know about. She’s very playful and active and would enjoy having a doggy sibling with similar energy. Elsa does well in her crate—she may initially protest but settles down after a few minutes and quietly plays with her toys until she falls asleep. She is also doing a good job with potty training and has mastered ringing the bells hanging from the patio door to let her foster know she needs to go out. Elsa is a female Great Pyrenees/Shepherd Mix that we estimate to be born around 12/11/24. As of 2/22, she weighed 13 lbs.
