Story
- **Name**: Oakley - **Age**: 2 years old - **Breed**: Great Pyrenees - **Gender**: Male   **About Oakley**:   Oakley is a stunning 2-year-old Great Pyrenees with a regal appearance and a calm, laid-back personality. He was rescued after being found roaming the neighborhood, as his previous owners didn’t have a fence to contain him. This gorgeous boy has a beautiful, strong head that makes him quite the head-turner. Oakley’s gentle demeanor and love for people and other animals make him an ideal companion for any household.   **Special Notes**:   Oakley’s chill personality is one of his standout traits. He doesn’t get excited about much, preferring to take life in stride and enjoy the company of those around him. He’ll fit in well with a family that appreciates his relaxed nature and is ready to provide him with a secure, loving environment where he can feel safe and at home.   **Ideal Home**:   Oakley would thrive in a home with a secure, fenced yard where he can safely explore and relax. His new family should be loving and attentive, as Oakley enjoys human companionship and gets along well with other animals. His laid-back attitude makes him an easygoing addition to any home, whether you have other pets or children.   **Why Adopt Oakley**:   Adopting Oakley means welcoming a calm, gentle giant into your life. His stunning looks and even-tempered personality make him a perfect fit for families looking for a loyal, loving companion. Oakley’s journey from roaming the neighborhood to finding a forever home could end with you, and in return, you’ll gain a devoted and affectionate friend for life.   ~Although we do our very best to make sure your new pup is in tiptop health before adoption, things could drastically change a month later.  Since we don’t have a long health history of your adopted dog, we can only treat the pet for whatever symptoms present during the initial exam. Story
Riley spent many long months in the shelter, until staff who loved him enough, brought him into their home to foster. He's a great, good boy, kind of a dog!. He's got the right amount of energy and chilled behavior too. He enjoys playing with toys, going for walks and spending time with his humans.  He is the type of dog that you can take everywhere! He is great in the car and behaves well in restaurants with patios! He's dog friendly, kennel and house trained. He is also good with kids. We think Riley is Heeler/Pyrenese. He's good on leash and LOVES people!  Riley’s perfect home would be a busy house with a backyard, other dogs to play with, and people to love on him. Since he is a big boy, we recommend a home with dogs above 40 pounds as playmates. He loves everyone and his tail never stops wagging.  Did we mention how super handsome and chill he is??!!  ##1985442##

Story
Why rescue a Pyr? Adopt Marvel! This handsome male Pyr has a story to melt your heart . After being left on a rural property, Marvel lived outdoors taking shelter under a porch since 2018. Dallas Dogrr took Marvel in when this poor boy was shot with an arrow and was heart worm posiitive. He healed quickly and began living with one of our fosters. After a few months it was discovered that he had cancer that was contained in his front right leg. Amputation being the standard of care, Marvel became a tripod and is now cancer free! Marvel took no time to transition to the three legs. He loves running in the backyard and checking for any animal activity. He also is good buddies with the foster's two dogs; taking cues from them regarding house rules. Marvel is a smart guy, becoming more sure of himself each day. He has now mastered running! Pyrs are know for walking the fence line and roaming, so a secure tall fence is a must for Marvel. As for barking, Marvel is a minimalist; and not easily excitable. Marvel starts his day with a good morning wag of the tail! During the day he enjoys chillaxing on cushy dog beds, chewing on a bone here and there. He loves massages and belly rubs, too! When he wants to go outside he shows excitement by "hopping to his foster mom and then to the door. If he really wants attention, he will "speak with his low manly voice usually letting you know it's time to make his dinner. Where his people or dogs are is where he wants to be. Whether inside on some cushy spot or outside enjoying some cool breezes he is a happy pup! Despite living outside for years, Marvel is house broken and has never messed in the house. Good with a doggie door. Not a fan of a crate, but is fine in a good size room with a dog bed. Good when left alone in house too. He listens to verbal correction, such as the word no if he tries to get on the couch. Marvel enjoys people giving him attention and has been exposed to all ages at our adoption events. Would be most happy with at least one other dog. Unsure about his feelings on cats.

Story
Lavender: The Super Pup! Lavender isn't just any dog-she's one of our Canine Good Citizen Super Dogs! At 2 years and 7 months old, this 62-pound love bug is great with people and kids. She's got a playful, loyal personality and is ready to join her forever family. Make Lavender yours! This lovely lady has been an amazing mom to our Era litter, and now that all her puppies have been adopted, it's her turn to find a loving family. Lavender was adopted from the shelter but was surrendered to our rescue when her owner discovered she was pregnant. Despite the change, Lavender has shown nothing but sweetness and love. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is fantastic with kids, making her a perfect addition to any household. She is a perfect blend of sweetness and playfulness. She loves to romp around the yard, play with her favorite turtle toy, and curl up for cuddles while you enjoy a good Netflix binge. She's currently working on some boundaries, but with her loving heart and nurturing nature, Lavender is sure to shower your family with devotion and joy. Lavender does have a quirky side: she prefers to dine alone in her kennel. Yes, this gal likes her meals served with a side of privacy! She can become protective with her food, so we recommend letting her enjoy her meals solo. To help with this and other training needs, her adoption will come with one complimentary training session. Lavender is eager to find a home where she can be pampered and loved as much as she deserves. Adopt Lavender today and let her bring a little extra sweetness into your life! All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at www.dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application, please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.

Story
I'm Apollo. Yes, I am a handsome boy but I don't let that go to my head. I am friendly with everyone I meet. And it seems I can cause quite a stir. I really enjoy my foster family who plays ball with me which is my most favorite game!. I don't like being left alone for long periods. But I do great when I am left with a confident fur sibling once I've had a chance to get used to my surroundings. I am a good house guest with hardly any barking and no accidents. I'm still working on my crate training and leash walking skills. If you are ready for big furry snuggles,  just let them know at TMHPR if you want to meet me for yourself! I'll be waiting!    ##1787337##
