This sweet baby was found a couple months ago roaming the streets in Mansfield, TX with his sister and they were sleeping under cars in a mobile home park. Was not chipped and we were never able to find an owner or someone missing their pets. We were able to rescue both to get good baths, get on flea preventative and now they are ready to find their Fur-Ever home!! Him and his sister are both available but they can also be split up. I dont know his exact age but id guess under 1 and needs a home with land to run and play. Both do great with other dogs, horses, cows and cats, but not Chickens. He is not leash-trained which leads me to believe he has always been an outside dog. He loves to roam around so a secure fenced area is a must, loves to get in the pond and pays no mind to the cows and horses on the property currently. He is the sweetest giant you will ever meet and I hope you can consider him to be a forever part of your family!!

This is Bleu (yes she is a girl). She is 3 years old and is a Great Pyrenees/german shepherd mix. She’s a very laid back pup and is very content laying around and just chilling. If you're looking for a new best friend that loves being outside and right next to you, she is your girl for sure. She has the sweetest disposition and has been so great with our young kids (they play all over her and she loves it). She has been a wonderful dog for us, but unfortunately we are now not able to give her the life we know she deserves. We know she will find a perfect new home with either an individual or a family looking for a gentle and laid back best friend.

Now, I’m strong, healthy, and ready to take on any challenge. Whether it’s running up five flights of stairs, jumping over rocks, or going on long walks, I’m always eager for a job to do. Hi, I’m Moon. They say I’m a 2-year-old Anatolian Shepherd mix, but honestly, I feel much older than that. Life hasn’t exactly been gentle with me. For as long as I can remember, it’s just been me, Bennett – my baby’s dad – and the endless streets. I gave birth to my little one, Alex, all alone out there. We didn’t have a safe place to rest or warm hands to care for us. It was just me, trying my best to keep us alive and safe. The kind folks at Second Chance Dog Rescue found me after someone saw me and Bennett roaming around. A partner of theirs trapped me and brought me to safety, but it’s hard to let go of the fear and hurt. The past has left its mark, and every human hand feels like a question: Will they hurt me, too? I’m trying, though. The volunteers here are patient, letting me come to them on my own terms. I want to trust them, but my heart needs time. I’m a good mom, a gentle soul, and, despite my past, I know deep down I still have love to give. I like being able to see Bennett here; it’s a small comfort. I even enjoy the company of other dogs, as long as they respect my space and understand that trust doesn’t come easy for me. Every day, I’m learning that maybe – just maybe – there’s a future out there with a kind family who won’t let me down. Until then, I’m holding on, one soft touch and gentle word at a time.
