Meet Zoey: Our Makeover Miracle This Pyrenees came to us critically underweight, raw skin, almost furless and with the tired eyes of a dog that’s seen too much in her 2 years. One of our fosters with the patience of a saint and the grit of a vet tech, stepped up. Backed by a shelter team that refuses to give up on dogs like her, the foster rolled up her sleeves and got it together Day by day, the redness softened. The scabs healed. The fur began to return. But the most beautiful thing that grew back wasn’t her coat. It was her trust Fast forward to today? Zoey is kennel trained. Potty trained. Dog-social. Exuberantly energetic. Professional wrestler with dog friends. Cat enthusiast (she may lay on them like an annoying cousin, but is quick to give in). Chicken chaser — strictly for cardio. He’s a big guy who still looks for snuggles. 🧸🤍 He walks good on leash, a bit strong when excited, and absolutely adores the people on the other end of the leash 🦮💙 Also, Goat seems potty trained.
