We need your help! We have a great Pyranees mix that we rescued back in 2017. Unfortunately he has developed separation anxiety which has made it difficult for us to leave the house. With two little kids that have many activities, and with having to go back into the office I can no longer provide him with the time he needs. We have gotten medication to ease his anxiety and it has helped but he really needs someone who can give him more attention and training to ease his crate/separation anxiety. Cooper also has a fear of other dogs but has lived with our Cocker spaniel over the years with no issues. He has been great with our kids just gets excited and likes to jump when greeting. He calms down after a few minutes though and typically sleeps during the day. Please reach out for more information as he is really a sweet dog and we have no other option other than putting him down which I can't bring myself to do.

If you love big Mutts and you cannot lie, you have got to meet Legend. He is a 11 month old Great Pyrenees mix who has never met a stranger. He came into the shelter with his brother who has been adopted. Legend is still growing and going to most likely be close to 100 pounds. He’s currently on medication for growing pains. Legend is gorgeous, and anyone meeting him will fall in love. Legend is a happy boy who is very busy and will need a home where he will get plenty of exercise. When left alone he will need to be crated. He‘s definitely not a farm dog (hates chickens) and currently lives in a foster home where he loves to hang out on the couch. He will require supervision in the home and can be destructive when he’s left unsupervised. He will definitely need a home with a 6’ wooden fence, no apartments. Bernie has been with us since he was rescued as a small puppy roughly two years ago. He loves to play with our other small terrier mix, and he does very well on walks and when we take him to the dog park. We have three kids in our home, and he has done well around them and other people. He does require a strong owner who knows how to handle large dogs, and he will need to be reinforced to be gentle when he is fed sometimes. We must let Bernie go because I have generalized anxiety, and his demeanor is not conducive to my condition. I also work from home, and Bernie barks any time the door is rung or he senses someone approaching. He is very stubborn, and getting him to calm down can be challenging. Bernie loves to be with or near his family. He LOVES to get on the couch and in bed with us. This can be challenging with his size His best home would be somewhere that he can bark and play more outside, and where his owner can handle or appreciate his alertness.
