Story
This giant goober is looking for his forever home. He is currently fostered in the DFW area. He loves to wrestle and play, which is quite the sight with this big boy. He has been through training programs more than once, so he is a dream on a leash. He is crate trained and super friendly. He thinks cats make awesome snacks, which is not terribly appropriate, and due to his size and playful nature, he'll be best with kids 10+. Described as a bull in a china shop, he's also a great snuggler! Boogey is following Pyr Paw protocol here to ensure there is an equal exchange of loves given and received. He loves people more than anything else in this world, all he asks in exchange for his love is a single dog home with the ability to couch snuggle and sunbathe He's a gorgeous boy, looking for his forever home! Story
Koda is a senior Great Pyrenees who is the absolute sweetest with all people. She’s comfortable around toddlers to adults, men and women. She prefers to stay inside but is always willing to go on a walk, she loves to be on a leash and is incredibly good one on one. She’s been professionally trained at PlayStation Pet Resort but listens like a typical pyr from time to time. While inside, she rarely has accidents and she is normally very quiet. She will go from couch potato to zoomies and has plenty of energy for a “senior dog”. Koda has done casually well in open spaces with other dogs but due to interactions at a prior home (she’s been attacked before which had made her on edge at times with other dogs), it’s best that she’s an only dog. She LOVES being groomed and will lay down to be pampered. Apply today TGPR.org

Story
Hi my name is Zoe Yvette but my nickname is Zoobert. They call me sporty, and like any good sports car, I can be both fun and finicky. I like to show everyone how fast I can run. I really enjoy exercise and activity and would love a home where I can go on excursions like hiking or biking or maybe even running. When I can’t be physically busy, I enjoy mental stimulation like food dispensing toys and learning new skills. Also, like any great sports car, I have my touchy side. I know I’m super pretty and super special so I take making new dog and people friends very seriously. Hey, not everyone gets to touch the Ferrari. I like most dogs, but prefer my dog friends to be a bit calmer and understanding that I’m still learning. I don’t like being corrected so I need my dog friends to be patient. I can be a bit shy at first with people, and sometimes, I get a little nervous and bark. Please, forgive me while I make sure that you really are here to be my friend. If you allow me to do my thing, I normally settle down after a few minutes, and once we become friends, we’re BFFs. And I do mean BEST FRIENDS. So what do you think about learning the fun and feisty side of a sporty sized Pyr?

Story
Marlon is a handsome three year old looking for a forever family. He is a sweet, goofy guy, and before coming into a foster home in December of 2023, spent about a year in boarding. He learnt lots of good things in boarding, but REALLY loves being in a home. He loves snuggling with foster mom in bed, doing yard patrols to protect from evil squirrels, and enjoys bones and tough toys. Marlon is fully house and kennel trained and gets along well with the resident dogs; slow intros were made to make sure everyone was comfortable. Marlon does enjoy his food and should be fed separately, but that’s easily managed. Marlon needs an adopter who will allow him time to decompress in a new environment. Marlon walks great on leash and rides very well in the car. Apply today TGPR.org

Story
Hi! My name is Griffin and I was born 2/26/2018. I'm a big boy (93 pounds). I am returning to TGPR a second time due to a change in my pack family. Loosing my family was just too much for me to handle, and I became scared. I am slow to warm up, but I'm working on it with my foster family. I'm a quiet guy and don't like a lot of loud chaos in my home. I am house and crate trained, know basic obedience skills, and a dream to walk on a leash. I might be older, but I love to play with other dogs. My foster family says that I'm a great mentor dog and am good at showing young dogs the ropes. I love to go on car rides, and even though I might be unsure about some new things, I always try to explore and have fun. I am very patient and will give the Pyr paw when I need some extra attention or reassurance. In my next home, I would love to have people to spoil me and give me some one-on-one attention. One look into my soulful eyes and you will be in love. Apply today at TGPR.org for a meet and greet.

Story
This little guy is the sweetest, most affectionate puppy! He really had a hard time before he got here, but it has definitely not made him dislike the people! He's learning to dog, eating his brains out, catching up on sleep, and generally looking exactly like a stuffed animal. He actually knows how to sit. It is the cutest thing ever. Little Pilgrim would love a home with a dog friend and a whole bunch of affection!

Chubey is an excellent. He’s a Great Pyrenees German shepherd mix that is about two years old. We got him from a family friend who has two similar dogs. He’s a beautiful dog, good with kids, and loves us to play. He mainly eats meat and treats. Taking care of him has been hard because I have a busy schedule. Overall, he’s a good dog. Nobody has time to take care of him

I'm Apollo. Yes, I am a handsome boy but I don't let that go to my head. I am friendly with everyone I meet. And it seems I can cause quite a stir. I really enjoy my foster family who plays ball with me which is my most favorite game!. I don't like being left alone for long periods. But I do great when I am left with a confident fur sibling once I've had a chance to get used to my surroundings. I am a good house guest with hardly any barking and no accidents. I'm still working on my crate training and leash walking skills. If you are ready for big furry snuggles,  just let them know at TMHPR if you want to meet me for yourself! I'll be waiting!    ##1787337##

Story
Evee came to us after being picked up by Animal Control when she was discovered dumped inside of a laundromat. Because of her age, and the large tumors on her body, she found herself quickly added to the Euthanasia list. Thankfully, a guardian angel was watching and we were able to tag her and save her an hour before that happened. This girl is just a sweet, big furball. She enjoys getting pet and hugs and will come and put her head in your lap when she wants snuggles. Though she is a Pyr, her barking is minimal and selective. She will protect her backyard by occasionally alerting to a strange situation or sound and you can tell she’s quite proud of herself! Evee loves to play with the other dogs in her foster home and seems so happy when she plays. She’s like a young pup again herself! She is also very good with cats! Evee is so patient when she gets a bath or brushed, is housetrained, and walks well on leash. Though she is considered a senior dog, she has so much love left to give and deserves the best home. Apply to make her yours today.
