Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Sweet Bolt is still patiently waiting for his forever home.  Bolt came into rescue after being taken to a shelter by a family that said he had grown to be "too big".  While in rescue, he was caught in a weird matrix around Covid and post Covid and hardly received any applications. And for some reason we couldn’t secure a foster for him-until now.  Bolt has been in boarding all this time and although the people there took such great care of him, he much deserves his forever home.  He’s a sweet guy, he loves people and wants to follow his foster mom everywhere!  His foster mom is just getting to know him, but so far he’s a polite guest, not at all destructive, and asks to go outside when he needs to do his business.  He seems very smart and alert!  He’s quite a counter surfer but so far has only secured paper towels that he loves to shred.  He can get excited when meeting new people and greet them with hugs but settles down quickly. He’s being slowly tested with other dogs and cats as he gets comfortable in his new home.  He has DNA pending and we’ll update that when we know! Bolt is currently in Tacoma, WA and can be transported within OR-WA. All our dogs require secure VISIBLE fencing. All current pets in adoptive home must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations.  Adoption Fee: $175 All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  Meet Miles! Miles is a handsome guy who was rescued from the streets as a young puppy. Miles is about 80 pounds and is a healthy, happy dog. Miles gets along with everyone, cats included. His crate is his safe space, and he eats and sleeps well and with no issues. Sometimes he goes to his crate to decompress when the house gets a little loud. He loves to jump on the trampoline He uses a chair to climb up and jump with the kids. He is good with kids. He does counter surf but has gotten much better and "down" is all it takes to remind him of his manners. He would love to be someone's snuggle buddy. He would be okay even with someone elderly- he is very chill. Miles is currently in Texas but can be on the next transport! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Here’s Della!  Della is mom of the “Perry Mason” litter from the large rescue in the PNW over the summer.  Della is a little over a year old and came from a difficult environment.  She is a sweet girl who deserves a better life.  Just a baby herself, she is looking for a foster or adopter willing to put in the time to show her how a dog’s life can be with a loving family.  She is a beautiful girl who will play hard to get while she’s trying to figure out if she can trust you or not, so kindness, consistency and a calm and loving environment will go a long way.  She has shown ZERO aggression and will panic a little if she feels unsafe and it’s understandable for what she’s been through.  She was SUCH a good mama taking care of her puppies, most have been adopted.  She will need help with all the things, feeling safe, leash walking, riding in a car and learning how to play and be a dog.  Do you have the heart and environment for Della?  She deserves so much more and we are so hopeful she will find her forever.  Is it you?   Pyrenees experience as well as shy-dog experience necessary for this sweet & quirky girl! Meet Birch!  Birch came into rescue when a tragic accident suddenly took his owner.  His mom was well known in the small community of Shelton, WA, and the residents rallied to get him somewhere safe after her passing.  Birch is a 2-year old Pyrenees-Border Collie mix and still full of puppy energy!  He is a very active, loves attention, is very sweet and affectionate, and he LOVES to give kisses!  Birch is a very strong and active boy who will benefit from physical and mental stimulation as well as some basic training. He is very playful and loves to wrestle and be chased. He does best with female dogs and would like to be the only king of the household.  He would prefer a home without cats.  Birch is being fostered in Shelton, WA and can be transported within WA and OR. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Cabo is a 5-year-old male Pyrenees mix weighing around 98lbs. He is not destructive inside or outside of the home and is not a digger. He is house trained, and crate trained. He does patrol the yard and will bark at strangers.  He will need to be an only dog in his home and doggie parks are not a good idea for sweet Cabo. Cats are unknown but doubtful. Cabo is very sweet to people, once he trusts you, he does wonderful!  He likes goodies, treats, food of all sorts.  His ideal home would be that he is the only dog.  He could be with a family if the kids are sweet and gentle, a couple, or a single person.  He is not much of a hiker or runner but walks would be sufficient.  He is trained for sit, come, heel for leash walking, off for not jumping on his humans, and “nice” or “gentle” for taking treats.  He sleeps in his crate at night and is not anxious with car rides. He is such a super great dog and has come so far; he needs his forever home for this big guy that is very loving to his humans.  Could that be you???? Cabo is currently being fostered in the DFW area but can be on the next PNW transport.    All our dogs require secure VISIBLE fencing. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Jasper is a handsome, large 9 month old puppy that is full of joy and curiosity.  He was rescued in April 2024 at just a few months old and 14 pounds with his brother.  His brother was adopted in the summer, but Jasper is still seeking his forever family.  Jasper’s fur is soft and smells good all of the time.  He has a sweet face and the cutest little pink spot just inside of his nose.  He’s generous with his cuddles and kisses.  Every day his foster mom buries her face in his fur at least once, maybe twice, which makes her forever dogs jealous.  When Jasper wants attention or needs to go outside, he’ll push his face into the side of her legs as if to say, “Hey, it’s time to go outside,” or “I would like you to rub my fur”.  For fun he will occasionally “goose” his people.  He does this a lot with his foster grandmama.  Jasper is crate trained, house trained and walks well on a leash.  He enjoys car rides, running around with his foster sister in the evenings and getting an occasional pup-cup from Starbucks.  He’s a bit like a toddler and explores everything with his mouth. His furever family should be equipped with lots of chew toys and be willing to help him learn what’s off limits for chewing.  Jasper is located in Texas, but can be put on the next transport to the PNW.       OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR PUPPY ADOPTION: 1) PUPPIES WILL ONLY BE PLACED IN HOMES THAT HAVE AT LEAST ONE MEDIUM TO LARGE YOUTHFUL, PLAYFUL RESIDENT DOG that is age 1 or older. This helps integrate the dog into your household easier by giving the pup a mentor. 2) These puppies can be livestock dogs to farms and homesteads experienced in training LGDs. They also must be family pets that are allowed inside the home. 3) In addition to the youthful playful dog, someone must also be home at least part of the day. Please do not apply for a puppy if you are gone 8+ hours a day. 4) We give preference to applicants with prior Great Pyrenees knowledge/experience. 5) Secure and visible fencing required. 6) You must have a plan in place to socialize your puppy properly. Adoption Fee: $375 All of our puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on age appropriate vaccinations.  We do not adopt to families with children under the age of 6. Story
Hello, my name is Luna and I am eager to find a forever home this Christmas! I have been described by my owners as the best dog they have ever had, due to my excellent behavior, intelligence and sweet, affectionate nature. Unfortunately, my smallest human family member suffers from severe allergies, necessitating my relocation to a new home. I am seeking an owner who values a loyal companion and is willing to engage in various activities with me, such as playing, walking, and snuggling. I’m good with active or sedentary lifestyles.. my current owners are couch potatoes who have an occasional inspiration for short periods of fitness. As a livestock guardian breed, I possess a strong instinct to guard and defend my family, but I also excel at adapting to different energy levels and social situations. I have been socialized to interact calmly with teenagers, adults and other dogs, and I am confident in my ability to assess and respond to potential threats.

Story
Mavis is a sweet friendly 6-7 month, Great Pyrenees. She's a bundle of playful puppy energy, a quick learner, treat-motivated, loves giving kisses and being with her people. Mavis is dog-friendly and would thrive in a home by herself or with a confident, youthful/playful, and/or patient dog mentor to show her the ropes. Kid-friendly: 8+ Mavis is working on basic training, including potty training and commands like; stay and wait. Though already mastered: " Sit, Shake, Drop it, and No." She's also learning how to interact with cats and walk nicely on a leash. Her new family will need to be patient, understanding, and committed to her continued training. She'll do best with someone who is home often and experienced with her breed. She'll also need a large secured fenced yard. Mavis is UTD on Vaccines: Rabies, Bordatella, DHPP and has been dewormed. She's on heartworm/flea/tick prevention. Adoption fee: Is used to offset vet visits, vaccines, and medicine.

Story
He is a goofy cuddle bug. Likes to be the little spoon. Super Smart. Adorable underbite when he is trying to distract you. Runs like Scooby Doo when playing hide n go seek. Clean bill of health. I love him very very much, and he has been spoiled since I rescued him starved on the side of the road three months ago. No separation anxiety or food aggression. Knows basic commands. Comes with toys, food, pool, meds, brushes, everything a dog needs. Would be willing to pay for food until he gets settled in. I am trying really hard to not take him to the shelter because I’m afraid to undo all the progress he has had. Also fear reactive to strangers due to abuse. I’ve only had him three months but I think he would respond well to reactivity training, although I’m not getting the chance as my landlord wants him gone. I’ve introduced him to a couple of experienced people and he did perfectly with them after about 15 minutes worth of treats. But a big scared dog needs experience.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. When you are eating at a restaurant do you like when strangers stop to take food off your plate?  How about when family members do it?  Still no?  Well, then you will likely understand Zira. Zira is an 11 month old Pyr/Anatolian mix pulled with her sister in a TX shelter when she was about 5 months old. Zira was adopted by a couple who then returned her as they didn’t know how to help her when she was communicating.  Zira is a super sweet and silly girl who will give you hours of entertainment. Her whole body wiggles and wags when she sees people and anticipates getting loves, boop kisses, then she will flop over on her side for belly rubs. When she doesn’t have a care in the world, she’s out doing zoomies, chasing around her toys that she can throw herself, or playing with her foster siblings.  She is very smart, learns quickly and is very food motivated which helps with training.  She is an adventurer, loves to play with other dogs, loves to DIG (and is very good at it so you must love her more than your yard) and quietly sleeps through the night.  She is fine with cats.  She is crate trained, walks well on a leash and is fully potty trainied.  Zira is a great communicator and growls when she is uncomfortable, that in turn may make some people uncomfortable. She may not like every dog she encounters immediately and others she will.  She would benefit from a calm and confident human who can help her feel safe under such conditions.  Her current foster has two other fosters, Zira loved the female immediately and growled at the male for 4 days.  With a lot of reassurance (and treats), Zira started to look at her foster brother with curiosity and playfulness.  Now they can play nicely together in the yard!  Zira is at the age where she’s really considering her guarding trait, what she was genetically meant to do.  She needs to decide who is friend or foe and not everyone will be a friend…at least right away and maybe she may find a dog she doesn’t like at all.  Just like us people, we don’t always like everyone we meet.  Her first line of defense it to make it known she’s uncomfortable (growling maybe showing teeth) and then evaluating from afar.  She has likely OUTGROWN dog parks with her maturing as it takes her time to evaluate a “threat” (4 days for her foster brother).  She would love to have a friendly and loving sibling who she can count on through thick and thin.  Even so, she will likely never want to share her meals or her bones but may be able to be encouraged to share her toys.  With learning her guardian role, Zira does a great job barking at threats or when her foster siblings are barking.  She has a beautiful full and rich alto bark that should deter any stranger.  She is not a trained working dog but loves to be outside.  She is unaware of her size so large and sturdy children are best as she doesn’t have a “pyr paw” she has a “pyr PUNCH!”  Zira is being fostered in Tacoma, WA and can be transported within OR-WA.  OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR PUPPY ADOPTION: 1) PUPPIES WILL ONLY BE PLACED IN HOMES THAT HAVE AT LEAST ONE MEDIUM TO LARGE YOUTHFUL, PLAYFUL RESIDENT DOG.
