Story
Coral is a stunning 7-month-old, 48-pound Great Pyrenees mix who was found abandoned in a field, but you’d never guess it from her sweet, easygoing nature. Her happy-go-lucky personality will brighten your day, and she’s sure to keep you laughing with her playful charm. If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate companion who’s ready to bring joy and love into your life, Coral is your girl! Could you be her forever home?IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as "Out of Town" pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.

WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Basil - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Looking for a new FBF (furry best friend)? Look no further than Basil (hey, hey, that's me!) and I'm here looking to adopt me a family, a home...one I can say will be all mine! And since you're reading this, I'm hoping that you'll consider making ME a part of yours!!!! Me and my siblings were dumped in a rural area along side a busy highway. Scared to death we took refuge in an abandoned house to try to brave the elements. Some neighbors noticed us and came to give us food and water and they called this wonderful rescue. The first few months of my young life was not so great, but I'm learning. I'm learning that not all people are bad and that pets and kind words are kinda really nice. I is ready to start this next chapter in life with a family that will have lots of patience, treats and gentle pets so I can give back lots of puppy kisses and tail wags!! I'm just a baby yet at only around 5months. I have got a really sweet nature that does love to run around and play with my siblings, so to set me up for success I will need a quieter home without smaller children but that has a playful '4 legged sibling' for me to follow around and take my ques from. Mom looks like a Pyrenees/Golden Ret mix and dad was a traveling salespup sweet talking his way through town! I will probably be around 50 - 60 lb area when I get myself fully growed up. I want to be sooooo ready be that lil heartbeat at your feet, and with a little time and a lot of love, I know I'll be there. So, if you think you can help me be a pawsome fit for you and your lifestyle, please stop scrolling and fill out my adoption application! It can be found at haydudeequine.org This lil family includes - Basil, Oregano, Paprika, Rose, Violet and Poppy

Story
Welcome Anna to CCPAL Rescue. Anna is a 3-year old Great Pyrenees. She is about 65 pounds and we saved from a high kill Animal Control here in Texas. She was pregnant so CCPAL took her in. She was too far along and we didn’t want to see her or her puppies euthanized. She had 9 puppies. They are about weaned so she will begin to dry up and be ready for her forever home. She does not have the extra dew claw on her back feet but some of her puppies do have it. She is very mellow and doesn’t jump up. She is friendly and laid back to strangers. She would be great with children. We like them to be 8 or older. She could go with a family that is low to moderately active as she is very chill. She is good on a leash and in a car. She is good in a crate and has met lots of dogs smaller than herself and has done great with all of them. She wasn’t at all reactive on leash and is an overall wonderful dog. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally. We would love her to go more north because the temperatures are less warm and she has a big beautiful coat. She will need brushing to keep her beautiful coat. We would love someone that has owned a guardian breed. This is an amazing breed and will do better in a fence over underground fencing. She is healthy, vaccinated and will be spayed soon and ready for her forever home. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Welcome Athena to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 2-year Great Pyrenees. She weighs about 90 pounds. She has a beautiful coat and the typical extra back toes commonly found in this breed. This is a guardian breed dog. They naturally will protect their flock or family. This breed will do best in a fully fenced yard as they will roam away if there is no fence. She is good with other dogs and will need some more leash work. She would be great with someone that knows the breed and loves it. She should have the natural tendencies of this breed. She had puppies and we adopted them out. We also adopted out the larger male that was found with her as a stray. She would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. She is up on her vaccines, healthy, spayed and ready for her forever home. She is currently in Texas anc can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpal.info/ See her cute video!!

This beauty is Aurora! She and her nine, one-week-old puppies were left on the side of the road in a kennel.Despite a rough start, she has been an amazing mom to her puppies. She loves all humans and has been great with all dogs she has met at the shelter. She has medium-high energy and would do best with an active family.Aurora is a Pyrenees/Retriever mix, weighs 55 lbs, and her birthday is 3/9/23.All of our dogs/puppies are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm/Chagas-negative, and on Simparica Trio when adopted. If you are interested in meeting Aurora, please send an email to bahshelter@yahoo.com. If you have additional dogs, we require a meet and greet.

Story
Hi there, I'm Casper! I'm a dog who's full of energy and always ready for an adventure. You know, I once thought the interstate was a racetrack for dogs! I was sprinting down the lanes, dodging cars like they were slow-moving turtles. The police were not impressed with my speed and agility. They said something about 'traffic violations'. Next thing I know, I'm here in this shelter! I'm sweet, curious, smart, friendly, goofy, playful, and energetic. If you're looking for a partner in crime (don't worry, I promise to keep off the highways), I'm your guy!

Story
Well hello, I’m Spot! I believe I got my name because of the brown spot on my eye which really sets me apart from the others! I can be shy, but once you show me it’s okay I`m the biggest baby! Now I might bark at you in my kennel, but that’s just my way of asking you to take me out. I love getting my zoomies out! When you hype me up I zoom all over the place as fast as I can go. Personally I like to imagine I`m a race car! I love treats and giving my human friends hugs! I am the most lovable boy so if my looks don’t catch your eye my personality sure will! Come say hi and see if my race car abilities, cuddles, and looks steal your heart!
