Story
We’re fostering Molly for Animals Lives Matter Of East Texas, an 8 year old female Great Pyrenees. She was completely matted and smelled terrible! 2.5 hours of shaving later, she’s no longer matted, panting and rested easy. Molly has gained weight and strength, and has learned how to use a doggy door. She is vaccinated, crate trained and gets along with everyone and everything (adults, children, dogs, cats, etc.) PM us if you are interested in giving this senior girl a soft landing and loving forever home.

Story
Milkshake is a one-year-old great Pyrenees. She does fine with cats. She does great with dogs, she’s submissive and she loves kids a lot. She leaves livestock alone, but she won’t stay to guard them. She pays no attention to them. Out of respect for our foster’s time and privacy we do NOT arrange meet and greets without an application on file. Therefore the first step in our adoption process is to fill out the form on our website. We have one form that is printable and one that is an on-line fillable form. Our agency is ran by volunteers. We will get back to you as quickly as we can. If you have specific questions please email us at graingerhumane@yahoo.com. We do not have a shelter location with regular hours. All of our dogs are in foster homes. All dogs are fully vaccinated and spayed or neutered before adoption. https://graingercountyhumanesociety.org/available-dogsNovember 18, 2024, 7:47 pm

Story
Chibbs is a 135lb love bug! He lives w 2 other dogs and gets a long with them fine. When we take him for walks he loves meeting new people! On the occasion he has gotten loose, he’s NEVER been aggressive toward other people or animals- just curious and playful. He is protective of his home and when he’s outside he barks constantly at anyone walking by. Chibbs needs a job to do to fulfill his self worth! We love the pooch, he just need a larger area where he can be of use!!

Story
Belle was found abandoned on a mountain with another dog, we have fostered her and grown to love her but due to our housing situation, we can’t continue to keep her. She is the sweetest dog and loves to cuddle and sleep! The vet estimated her age to be 1-1.5. She is high energy at times, but calms pretty quickly. She knows how to sit and knows her name well, also the word treat so be careful with that one!
