Story
Everest is a giant baby who loves cuddles, sleeping on a queen size bed and more cuddles. She is nervous around slick floors, but treats get her pretty much anywhere. She is protective around the house, yet very friendly with strangers. Loves kids and playing with her sister Dandy. She has learned a lot of commands, including sit, stay, come, crate, comida, down. She gets anxious when seeing other dogs around the house and is vocal though usually just wants to play.

Story
Hello folks, meet Bella: A German Shepherd and Great Pyrenees mix, born on February 11th, 2023. So, yes, she is still a puppy. Bella is one of six siblings that survived from a litter of 12. She weighs approximately 80 lbs, is very smart, very sweet, loves to go for walks/hikes fast learner and food motivated. Like all her siblings, Bella loves water, so she uses the water trough as her personal pool. Bella is full of energy, and she will fit perfectly in a home where there is a lot of activity, like walking, hiking, etc. Bella is a gentle soul who walks great on leash and has calm demeanor. We recommend a home with a fence that is at a minimum 6 feet tall, for her own security. Suggestions for a successful adoption are, no small children, no small animals or farm animals, as she has not been exposed to them and she might chase. Bella gets along and plays with her siblings; however, she should be fed separately from other animals in the home because she doesn’t like to share her food. Bella is fully vetted, spayed and microchipped. Kennel and crate trained for quiet time. If you are interested in adopting Bella please contact Hickman Humane Society at +1 (866) 304-3352.
