Story
Kody is a gentle giant who loves being around his family and spending time outdoors. He has a sweet nature but struggles with separation anxiety when left alone. Due to his anxiety, Kody has had challenges with aggression while on his old medication. Since, switching his medication he has shown no signs of aggression. Kody would benefit from a calm, consistent environment and a family that can provide the attention and space he needs. He tends to jump when he’s happy or wants attention. For this reason, he would do best in a home without young children, as his enthusiasm might unintentionally cause any harm or startle them.

Story
Darcy is a 3 month old female great pyrenees/lab/pointer mix who weigh about 20 pounds each. This litter of pups was rescued from neglectful conditions, where they were housed in unsanitary conditions with painful skin infections. They are now safe, bathed and healing nicely in our care. These pups are gentle giants who have tested great with other dogs, are super food motivated and love to play with toys. Do you have room in your home to give one of these puppies a chance? Meet Stevie!DOB: 8/19/2023Sex/Breed: Neutered Male Great Pyrenees/Australian Shepherd MixWeight: 65 lbsRescued From: Owner surrender*PLEASE NOTE: STEVIE`S ADOPTION FEE IS FULLY SPONSORED THANKS TO CYBIL AND THEIR FELLOW DOGGY DAYCARE PALS!*Stevie is a shining example of how disabilities don’t define a dog’s ability to love, play, and bring joy into your life! This incredible boy is mostly deaf and blind, but that doesn’t stop him from being one of the most social and playful dogs you’ll ever meet. Stevie’s enthusiasm for life is contagious—he greets everyone with a wagging tail and a heart full of love! Stevie thrives in the company of other dogs and would do best in a home with a backyard where he can romp around freely. While he would love a doggie sibling, it’s not a necessity as long as he has regular playtime with other dogs, either through playdates or doggy daycare. However, a cat-free home is best for Stevie. Stevie is already well-versed in his basic commands, thanks to his dedicated trainer, Erin, from Down to Earth Doglady. Erin specializes in working with dogs just like Stevie and will provide a post-adoption training session to help you understand his unique communication style. Stevie has been attending her daycare weekly since he was nine weeks old, and Erin has watched him blossom into the sweet, confident pup he is today. Though Stevie has been in foster care for almost a year due to misconceptions about his size and disabilities, those who meet him quickly learn that he’s just a loving dog eager for his forever family. With patience and a little guidance, Stevie will adjust beautifully to his new home—usually within a month. Erin will be there every step of the way to support you and Stevie in this transition. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to a dog who will return your love tenfold, please consider adopting Stevie. To see more of Stevie’s journey and his joyful life, check out Erin’s social media @downtoearthdoglady. Let’s find Stevie the loving home he deserves! All our pets are microchipped, spayed/neutered, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives.Interested in adopting? Story
Hello, my name is: GoliathDOB: 8/26/2023Sex/Breed: Neutered male Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever/Poodle mixWeight: ~75 lbs, but could still gain a few lbs. Rescued From: Owner surrenderWhen you see Goliath before his rescue, you wouldn’t believe he’s the same dog. After layers of mats were shaved off and pounds were packed on, the overgrown skeleton turned into a beautifully solid dog. Goliath is aptly named… he is big in size, but so is his personality and – even more importantly – his perseverance. Goliath has had time to recover in a wonderful foster home and has really started to blossom. This handsome boy is building confidence and learning about the life of a loved pet. After spending his entire life penned up outside, being in a home is a brand new experience. Goliath wasted no time getting comfortable! He seems house trained, is learning his manners and crate training, and will learn anything for some peanut butter. Watching him prance around the backyard with his head held high is mesmerizing!! Goliath is living with other dogs and likes to play with his pals. He is also perfectly content keeping himself entertained with a Kong filled with peanut butter or toys that crinkle. He is an energetic boy who would love to have a big backyard to stretch his legs in. We just adore this handsome boy and cannot wait to watch him thrive in his forever home… could that be yours??All our pets are microchipped, spayed/neutered, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives.Interested in adopting?
