KENNEL ID #01658&#226&#128&#139 Marius’s gentle nature has won the hearts of his foster family. He is currently attending doggy daycare with Steph at The Unique Pet Care in Elverson, where he patiently awaits his forever home. Marius is a joy to be around; he is very obedient and responds well when called. He has good manners, both in the car and on a leash. Marius would thrive in an active family and would love to have another large dog to play with in a spacious, fenced yard. While he is particularly fond of women, he takes some time to warm up to men. Marius’s affectionate personality truly shines as he gets to know you. This large teddy bear is ready to shower his new family with love and loyalty. Story
Crosby is a gentle giant. He is a very kind, loving, and experessive dog. He is best known for two things, his extra extra large size, and his extra large smile. He is 155LBs, and very tall as well. He is a Great Pyrenese at heart, and true to his breed, he is a protector and will bark to let you know of people walking outside of his fence, dogs, walking, the mail man, etc. He is certainly a barker in that way, however not in general when hes inside (unless he'd really like that treat you're holding). Crosby will do best in a home with one person or a couple with teenage children or older. Crosby is extremely kind to kids of all ages, but is very large and can be a challenge to understand how to play with for little ones. He loves walks, and does great on the leash! He loves to play in the yard, and have a good bone once in a while. He does not get the time and attention that he needs and deserves and finding the right home for him is with his best interest at heart.

Story
Meet Chelsea! Breed: Great Pyrenees  Estimated DOB: 03/01/2023  Sex: Female - spayed  Weight: 45-50 lbs  Up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations Things To Know About Chelsea: - Rescued from Mississippi after being heartlessly shoved under the fence at the local shelter- As confirmed by an Embark DNA test, Chelsea is 100% Great Pyrenees- Chelsea embodies all the charming traits of her breed in a petite "pocket pyr" build at only 48lbs- While sometimes aloof, Chelsea is an absolute sweetheart and loves everyone she meets, especially kids.- Her pyr-like goofiness provides non-stop laughter and will brighten anyone’s day.- Low to medium energy- She enjoys playful times with her toys and easily self-entertains- Professional nap taker - True to her breed, Chelsea loves being outdoors in any weather and would love a fenced in yard- She enjoys going for walks, though at times she shows typical Pyrenees stubbornness - Rides well in the car but may need a boost to get in- Chelsea enjoys sleeping through the night in her private, gated space.- Dog-friendly - Currently lives in a multi-dog household and loves to play with her foster siblings- Typical for Great Pyrenees, Chelsea is a bit bossy and is protective of her humans, food and toys from other animals. With people, she is a total softie!- Cat-friendly - ignores the cat she has met- She is even pig-friendly and loves to spend time with her pig siblings- Due to previous spinal trauma and comprehensive surgery with our friends at VRC Malvern, Chelsea is incontinent. She rocks her doggy diaper and even gets excited to put it on!- Chelsea's surgery was a huge success, surpassing all expectations! She’s now finished with specialist appointments and only needs regular wellness visits with her vet.- Chelsea is living her best, pain-free life—running, jumping, and enjoying every moment like a typical happy pup. She even participated in our annual Miles for Mutts 5K!-  Read all about Chelsea's Spine Tingling Saga on our website at TLCrescuePA.com/BarkingBack.- Chelsea is looking for a forever home that can provide the love, care, and understanding she deserves, ideally with someone experienced in managing her breed's needs.  Ready to welcome Chelsea into your life? Meet Grace! Breed: Great Pyrenees/Lab Mix Estimated DOB:10/24/2023 Sex: Female - spayed Weight: 60-65 lbs Currently up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations Things to know about Grace: Rescued from Mississippi Grace is a lovely, calm girl who has a gentle nature and huge smile! Met several friends and neighbors, seemed happy to make new friends and approached calmly. Friendly personality. Enjoys offering her paw to people once she feels comfortable Medium to low energy. Loves hanging out with her foster family- either snuggling up for pets or just relaxing nearby. Seems new to stairs but getting the hang of it! Story
“Meet Jaxon! This 3 year old Great Pyrenees, is large, in charge, and ready to rule your roost/couch! Jaxon can organize a toy mess in under 30 seconds and he can return a ball to you even faster. His favorite activities are making sure his people and home are safe, picking up litter on walks so you can discard it (cares about his environment!), and babysitting tennis balls. What he lacks in small-ness he makes up for in the puppy playfulness. He’s crate-trained, good on a leash with harness, and mostly house-trained (so close!). His foster home includes both cats and dogs and he prefers his kitty friends. Interested adopters should expect a couple rounds of dog-testing with any existing dogs (low energy females preferred) and some warm-up time with men.” Age: 3 years old approx Weight: approx 65 lbs Temperament: Gets along with adults, kids, dogs Training: house trained. Vetting: Spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative For questions about Jaxon, please email. chelseacna@gmail.com To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit. We are 100% donation-funded and our fees are equivalent to (or less than) the cost to fully vet a new dog yourself
