Story
Sage is a very special dog and I Love her dearly. She is great with kids and other pets. I can not say enough of good things about her. I am heartbroken even to be writing this as I speak. The tears are flowing down my face knowing that I need her to go to a family who has time for her. I am looking for a loving home with adults and children who have time for her.

Story
These 3 sweet girls have had a rough start to life. They have a neurological condition, but their spirit is just as bright as ever. These babies are blind and "circle" when excited. After a work up with a specialist, we believe it is due to a lack of oxygen in utero or during birth. Despite her unique challenges, her condition is not believed to be degenerative, and she's ready to find a home where she can thrive! She needs a calm, patient family with routine, securely fenced yard and another dog to help guide and comfort her. She may be blind, but with love and support, she'll quickly find her way around and settle in as a beloved member of your family. She's already shown amazing resilience, and with no structural issues in her brain or spine, she's ready to live a full and happy life in a home that's equipped to give her the care and understanding she needs. If you're looking for a sweet, loving companion and have the right environment to help her feel safe, she could be the perfect addition to your family. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Bear arrived to our rescue on 10/5 as a local owner surrender due to the family not having enough time for him.  He is a purebred Great Pyrenees puppy that is already weighing 64 lbs and most likely will reach 120 to 150 lbs.Bear is a little timid at first when meeting new people, but warms up quickly.  He has done well in meeting different dogs; cats we have no idea.  His foster family has grandchildren and he has done beautifully with them!   Bear walks well on a leash.  We are currently working on his crate and house training.   Being that he is a Great Pyrenees, he absolutely loves to be outside.  For this reason, we are requiring a fence for him.  He is a big pup and he does have energy, so he will need to be exercised regularly.  Bear loves dog toys and ropes and bones are his favorite!  Bear is not yet neutered and being that he is a giant size breed, most vets recommend waiting until he is a minimum of 12 months old...possibly older.  He is current on his distemper, bordatella and rabies; deworming and flea/tick.  His adoption fee is $450.If you are interested in this handsome fella, please submit an application on our website at https://worthytails.rescuegroups.org.  For any questions you may have, please email jessie.wilson@comcast.net.Thank you for your interest in a rescue pup!Pa Dog License #5039Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 14, 2024, 11:12 am
