Story
Willow Breed: Great Pyrenees Female Age: 3-4 Years Weighs 78.5 pounds I am a very loving girl!! I love to chase squirrels and birds, I will play fetch with you but may change my mind on giving you back the item you threw. I am very soft and my humans love to give me hugs and kisses. I get very nervous when I hear the IRobot start and will bark at it. I do not like fireworks and will try to run inside and hide, I love my foster brothers (both are golden retrievers) I am protective of my 4 year old human sister and am very curious of my 1 year old human sister. I am house trained and also crate trained. I will let you know if I need to go outside by slightly barking I am unsure if I like female dogs but I know for sure I do not like cats. I will eat treats very gently out of your hands. Oh!!! Did I mention I know how to sit when asked to??

Story
Meet Blizzard, a handsome 2.5-year-old Great Pyrenees mix with a heart of gold! Weighing in at 53 lbs, Blizzard made his unexpected entrance onto a ranch after New Year's—likely spooked by the fireworks. Despite our best efforts to locate his previous family, fate has brought him to us, and he’s now ready to be the best boy for a new home. Neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines and preventions, Blizzard is all set for his next chapter. Initially reserved, he has come out of his shell with the loving care of his foster mom and the friendly influence of her other dogs. Today, Blizzard is incredibly sweet and playful. He travels great in the car, walks well on a leash, and appears to be kennel trained—with only the occasional accident when he hasn’t had enough time outside. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who will brighten your days, Blizzard is your guy. Don’t miss the opportunity to welcome this charming gentleman into your family—adopt Blizzard today! $200 Local Adoption Fee (in Texas) $450 Out of State Fee (includes transport to your area)

Story
Meet Annie! Annie is 8 months old and about 60lb. Our best guess for her breed is a Great Pyrenees mix. Annie can be slow to warm up to new people but once she does she is the most affectionate and gentle girl! She loves her people hard. Annie’s ideal home would be having someone who works from home or has someone home more often. She’d prefer a home with other dogs! Other dogs make Annie feel more confident and comfortable. She also loves to play! Annie is also house trained and a very smart girl! If you are ready to open your heart and your home to Annie, please reach out and apply!

Story
Meet handsome Buddy, he is 7 years old.… Buddy is calm, and friendly. He is initially a tad nervous and would benefit from a family that has love and patience to give him. He is gentle with his treats and not very demanding of your time. Buddy came from a situation where his owner passed away - but even in life, Buddy was left to his own devices… he is now learning what it’s like to be part of a family, and enjoying the interactions. A calm home where he can be a couch potato would suit him just fine. Kids over 10-12 who know proper dog etiquette, Buddy would adore that. Buddy does need to make up for all the love he lost out on, so that’s only fair - we’re hopeful that in his later years we can find someone to offer him the loving companionship that he has been looking for.. Buddy will be an amazing addition to a family that gives him some time to come out of his shell and has a low key, calm household. He will be a super easy dog who would demand nothing more than a soft bed, two square meals and humans who love and adore her like he deserves. If you are interested in Meeting this wonderful boy.. please contact Sandy or The Great Pyrenees Club of Western Pennsylvania Rescue - thur www.swpapyr.org, or respond by e-mail - Buddy will LOVE you for it! We will also need you to fill out our adoption survey - Buddy will need an above ground fence for safe play and exercise. We are looking for homes in the surrounding Pittsburgh area. Bobbie Jo is up to date on all of her vaccinations, including Lymes, and bordatella... she is also Microchipped. She loves kids of all ages, gets along with dogs of all ages and sizes, and has been living with two adult cats very well (she just wishes they’d play with her). Her foster family loves her laid back and easy going personality. She is housebroken, has had some crate training(right now she has a room of her own), knows basic commands but still working on some. Bobbi Jo loves being outside and absolutely loves the snow! Doing well on leash walks and loves running and rough housing with other dogs. Story
Meet Biff, This wonderful boy is about 3.5 months old and already weighs approximately 45 lbs! With his last round of vaccinations less than a month away, adoption time is quickly approaching. Biff is a fun-loving character who enjoys playing with other dogs and spending time with people. He will be up to date on his shots and microchipped. Biff loves to wiggle between our legs for extra attention, get “butt drums,” and cuddle on the couch with our kids and any kid he meets. He reminds us of Thumper because when he gets excited, he hops to you with both front paws, stomping them on the ground. Biff loves car rides, and as part of his upbringing, he has been a mascot of sorts at the local school, bringing victory to some home games and laughter to the students. He is very well socialized. Are you ready to meet the perfect pet for you and your family? If you are interested in meeting this wonderful, beautiful boy, please contact Sandy or The Great Pyrenees Club of Western Pennsylvania Rescue through www.swpapyr.org, or email. We will also need you to fill out our adoption survey. Biff will need an above-ground fence for safe play and exercise. We are looking for homes in the surrounding Pittsburgh area.
