Meet Sol! This girl is very near and dear to our hearts. Sol was dumped with her sister, Luna, in late 2022. We trapped Luna not long after she was dumped and she has been happily adopted!After almost two years we were finally able to trap Sol, who had delivered a litter of puppies under a building. All of Sols puppies have been adopted to wonderful families. Sol is now fully-vetted and has adapted nicely to being a spoiled house dog! Sol gets along great with other dogs and is gentle with children. She has lived with cats and her relationship with them varies depending on the cat.Sol is timid in new situations and is not confident on a leash. She does go outside to potty and will require a fenced yard. Due to her history, it can take time for Sol to warm up to new people and places. Sol is mostly not an affectionate dog although she will gladly roll over for tummy rubs when shes laying next to you in bed.Despite her large size, Sol plays great with smaller dogs and has lived with several dogs under 20 pounds. She shares her food and water dish with other pets in the home and sometimes sleeps with two medium/large dogs in an open crate. Sol will give a deep bark and back away when startled. She hasnt shown any aggression towards adults or children, even when scared.

Story
Arlo is truly the sweetest boy. He is 8 months old and 75 lbs. Arlo has a medium energy level and can be kind of lazy but with some typical puppy behaviors. He loves children and other dogs. However, he tends to do best with smaller dogs as he fear nips when intimidated. He has some resource guarding with other dogs, although my older dog seems to really pick on him :( He does not resource guard with people. He will need training and knows the basic sit command. He is truly a sweet boy I wish I could give him what he needs. A home with no dog preferred, he would be perfect for you, experienced adopters preferred. Will send with all his items including DNA test results. Mix of 15 breeds. He is adorable.

Calling all experienced Pyrenees lovers!! Gus McFloof may have a fluffy face and name but he’s a force to be reckoned with. He’s 140#, perfect with dogs, cats, birds/ any animal! BUT he steals. That’s right; he steals things off the kitchen counter then guards them with all 140lbs. It sounds funny… we laugh too… but trust us you won’t be laughing if it happens to you. SO, he needs a home willing to have strict rules and boundaries. He cannot be allowed in the kitchen; seriously. Two trainers have not been able to replicate the behavior to work on it; it’s like he knows… He’s otherwise fully trained. We will be strictly requiring Pyrenees breed experience and a fenced yard for Gus and he’s #notallowedinthekitchen All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. Hi, my name is Reyna and I'm a 3 year old Great Pyrenees mix. I am truly a gentle giant. I was rescued from a shelter after my owner passed away. I'm a bit underweight and my foster family is helping me gain the proper weight per my breed. I'm an easy going girl who gets along with all animals. I love everyone I meet, especially children. Fully potty trained and crate trained but prefer to sleep on a dog bed during the night or when you are at work. Car rides are great also and I'm very polite wherever you take me. I know basic commands. I'll even shake for a treat. Being outside and patrolling my yard is one of my favorite things. I will alert you when we have a visitor. I am a guardian dog after all. If you are looking for a sweet easy going dog, look no further!  All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application.
