Story
Yuki is a 2 year old 86 pound Great Pyrenees! He is being fostered in Huntsville,AL and is available for transport and the approved adopter will be responsible for the transport fee. Yuki was primarily raised as an indoor pup without other pup playmates, so exhibits some stress when alone. He has loved being at his foster’s with a big yard and other dogs to play with. He does well with dogs of all sizes and has quickly realized and become sensitive to the fact that he is too large for some of his 20 lb playmates, which is really good. He has become pretty gentle in his few weeks at his fosters, primarily because he gets a lot of outdoor play time. He does need a pup playmate close to his size that provides him a since of security. He has been diagnosed with a seizure issue and takes daily medication, levetirace, for it. His foster is still learning about him, but so far, he is just a great happy boy. If you are interested in adopting Yuki please fill out an application on our website forrescue.net. He is being fostered in Huntsville, AL.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Stella Rose Great Pyrenees (possibly purebred) Stella Rose is a beautiful, gentle soul with a joyful, people-centered heart. She has the classic Great Pyrenees look — soft white coat, expressive eyes, and a calm, graceful presence — paired with a personality that is affectionate, happy, and deeply connected to her people. She does wonderfully with other dogs and has a surprisingly athletic side for a Pyrenees. Stella can clear a 5½-foot fence with ease — not because she wants to escape, but because she wants to get to her people. Her loyalty runs that deep. She isn’t interested in roaming; she’s interested in belonging. Stella Rose is incredibly people-oriented. She seeks connection, enjoys companionship, and would thrive in a home where she’s truly part of the family. She has a warm, loving demeanor and a gentle way about her that makes her a joy to be around. Like many Great Pyrenees, she brings both devotion and independence — a dog who can think for herself, yet chooses her people again and again. She would do best in a home that understands the breed: one that values trust, kindness, and inclusion over confinement. Stella Rose is ready for a family of her own — one she can love, protect, and run toward every single day. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a big heart and a gentle soul, Stella Rose may be the one you’ve been waiting for. Thank you for checking out our wonderful orphans. We try to post videos for each pet so you can really get to know them. If you would like to find out more please email or call Diane at... diane@ulpr.org or 870-577-3744.   Please email us at diane@ulpr.org and request an application. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 12, 2026, 5:10 am

Story
Baby Cakes is currently in a rescue in Oklahoma. We are looking for a home in a state where people treat their animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport near one of the cities listed at the bottom. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. -Baby Cakes came in with five siblings after being abandoned in the woods in late February/early March 2025. All of her siblings have been adopted and are thriving in their new homes. -She is a special case that will need a loving, very patient home. She is very shy and needs to feel safe and loved. You can see her disposition in the YouTube video attached. -Just turned 1 year old (January 1st) -Approximately 50-55 pounds -DNA testing shows she is 74% Great Pyrenees/18% Miniature Australian Shepherd/8% Boxer -Does great with other dogs large and small, would probably help her come out of her shell more. Small, yappy dogs stress her out. -Would do well with one-on-one attention -Best environment would be a quiet home. If there are children in the home, they need to be over 14 years old or so. -Needs an elevated bed or soft bed to lay on -Would need a fenced yard since she would be a flight risk (at least in the beginning when she's learning to trust her new family). Watch her video: https://youtube.com/shorts/cRBr78S6TkM See the rescue video when her litter was found: https://www.facebook.com/61556973118844/videos/641365195044815 Baby Cakes is spayed, vaccinated (Rabies, DHLPPx3, Bordetella), has been dewormed and a fecal test, and on monthly flea/tick/HW prevention.
