You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Online Adoption Application Balto and Brie were adopted together but due to no fault of their own they are  back with rescue.  It was just too much for the adopter to keep them.  We would love to keep them together since they have been together for this long , but we also understand how this may not be easy.  SO we can separate them and hope we find them two wonderful homes.  They are now 6 months old,  if anyone would like to adopt please put in an application.  They are wonderful good, happy dogs.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 8, 2024, 9:20 am

Story
Mabel and Finn 1 1/2 year old great pyrenes looking for a new home. Mabel and Finn family are moving and they will not have the space for these two to roam around on. Finn (Bandit) is a sweet lovable dog who loves to be groomed. He loves being outside  He is timid in the dog park and seems more relaxed with one on one interaction.  he would be happiest on a farm or a large property Mabel (Bella) is the alpha of the two. She is very sweet and affectionate. She loves going on long walks and will cuddle with whomever is willing. She enjoys the outdoors and playing with other dogs. She also is very sensitive and can be an escape artist.  It takes her some time to acclimate to new surroundings. I think she also would be best on a farm or large property bc of her breed   She does require a high secure fence. Both dogs are good with kids of all ages. They are not food aggressive but will growl if another dog (not human) tries to take their food. If you have a large property or are an extremly active family, please fill out an application at rescueridge.com An application is a must. Story
Meet Brick! The name pretty much sums up this little baby. He's a strong, sturdy pup with a heart of gold. Brick is friendly, affectionate, loyal, playful, smart, and curious - he's basically the perfect companion! He's also funny and loves giving kisses, so you'll never be bored with this little guy around. While he's still a baby, Brick has shown that he's already a brave little pup. He is great with other dogs, cats and kids! He is current on all his vaccines, microchipped and dewormed! Brick was rescued from a very bad feed store/flea market where he lived in a wire crate. He laid on wires day and night. His mom was a beautiful medium haired very large Great Pyrenees and his dad was a VERY large long haired Great Pyrenees. He is going to be a big boy! So anyone who decides to adopt this guy, just make sure your prepared for big wet slobbery kisses! If you're looking for a furry friend who will stick by your side through thick and thin, Brick is the one for you! Now just imagine all the adventures you could have with this adorable pup. So why wait? Apply for Brick today - he's just waiting for his forever home and can't wait to get his paws on you!

Story
PENNSYLVANIA: Everyone wants to add more love and joy to their lives – well, we found the missing LINC-oln for that! Young Lincoln is a happy, good-looking pup who enjoys all kinds of activities, but what makes him happiest is being by your side! His foster says: “Lincoln is one factastic boy! He is super sweet and loves every moment of every day!” Lincoln is only about 2 years old and weighs an elegant 80 lbs, with his best days ahead of him! Sadly, he was found tied to the fence of a NYC public shelter, but even then Lincoln maintained his “pawsitive vibe” energy and has since been patiently waiting for his furever home. Lincoln is a loyal friend who will love his future family not only unconditionally, but also passionately with his zest for life! Lincoln does have a higher energy level, but he is easily entertained and could run after a simple ball all day. An active home with daily exercise or a fenced in yard would be best for this handsome boy. Lincoln loves car rides, other dogs, hiking, and swimming! No matter what breed he is, Lincoln sure is easy on the eyes; we speculate he may have some Anatolian Shepherd or Great Pyrenees in him – but with such a love for the water, you would think he is part fish! Lincoln is available for adoption and comes neutered, house-trained, up to date on shots, and micro chipped. Lincoln gets along and has been living with other dog(s) and does OK around kids. Lincoln bonds very deeply with his people and because of his eagerness to please, he was a star student in obedience training. He has learned so much with his foster and he is now ready for his furever family. Lincoln wants to do anything to make his person/people happy; he truly has so much love to give. Can Lincoln give that love to you? To meet this one-of-a-kind guy, apply to adopt Lincoln at AmsterDog.org or contact 917-689-8414 (texts ok) for more information. Lincoln is waiting for you! Thanks for caring about a pet in need!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Alex (GA) is a male Great Pyrenees mix rescued in Georgia, estimated to be 7 months old in October 2021 and likely to be 85-95 pounds when full-grown. His foster mom says he is a 'giant, crazy and insanely happy puppy!' All people are his friends (he especially loves men!), he loves other dogs, and even likes cats.  Alex will do best in a suburban home with a fenced yard and an energetic doggy companion on the larger side who wants to play much of the day. He loves to eat as much as he loves to play. If there are children in the home, they should be on the older side: Alex really doesn't know how big he is!  He's working on his chewing, mouthing, leash and meal-time manners - the usual puppy behaviors which will benefit from continued and consistent training in his adoptive home as he grows into adulthood. True to his breed, he can be stubborn, he is very smart and his big personality matches his size. He has a true zest for life, so he's a fun, interesting and busy guy!  Alex has been neutered and microchipped, and will be up to date on core vaccines (age appropriate) at time of adoption. If you would like to take Alex home, please apply online to adopt Alex (GA) at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 8, 2024, 8:15 am

Story
Adoption donation $499 weight  84 lbs Age: 1 year as of 3/23/2024          Logan is a friendly and sweet boy whose father was a purebred Great Pyrenees and mom was a 35 lbs mixed breed. Logan loves to run and play, he is good with all the dogs in his foster home and he is house trained, but like any rescue  may need some training and patience while he settles in at a new home.       Logan loves toys and bones and attaches strongly to his person, he will follow his Foster Mom around and likes to lie at her feet. He also loves to lay his big head on your lap!           Logan’s original owners in Mississippi put two of his sisters in a cardboard box in front of their house with a sign that said “free puppies.” Wags rescued the puppies and found them loving homes. The owners refused to give up Logan and his sister Lila but kept them tied up outdoors.        Wags was finally able to  convince them to relinquish the two and Logan and Lila went to the rescue, enjoying freedom for the first time.       Lila has just been adopted, now it’s time for  Logan to find a loving home of his own. Logan  would love a yard to run around in or  another dog to play with. He has  been around children and has been fine with them, he just loves to be part of the family, All Wags adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip  and transport to the northeast.
