Story
Mabel and Finn 1 1/2 year old great pyrenes looking for a new home. Mabel and Finn family are moving and they will not have the space for these two to roam around on. Finn (Bandit) is a sweet lovable dog who loves to be groomed. He loves being outside  He is timid in the dog park and seems more relaxed with one on one interaction.  he would be happiest on a farm or a large property Mabel (Bella) is the alpha of the two. She is very sweet and affectionate. She loves going on long walks and will cuddle with whomever is willing. She enjoys the outdoors and playing with other dogs. She also is very sensitive and can be an escape artist.  It takes her some time to acclimate to new surroundings. I think she also would be best on a farm or large property bc of her breed   She does require a high secure fence. Both dogs are good with kids of all ages. They are not food aggressive but will growl if another dog (not human) tries to take their food. If you have a large property or are an extremly active family, please fill out an application at rescueridge.com An application is a must. Story
Aspen | Great Pyrenees-Black Labrador mix 1 year | Neutered | 85 lbs Aspen is a young Pyrenees Lab mix, neutered, heartworm negative and very sweet and cuddly. He is dog and people friendly- we are not sure about cats. Aspen does very well in his crate and he is respectful inside the house. He did live in a home with toddlers and is fine with kids although his size should be considered. He is very tall and quite agile although he is presently underweight. Aspen would do well with a young, active family with a backyard. Aspen has a great temperament and will do well in most family dynamics. Fostered in Central Jersey. Available for meet-n-greets on weekends. Adoption Fee includes all age-appropriate shots, deworming, spay/neuter certificate (if too young to be fixed) and microchip, dog food, leash and collar. PLEASE NOTE -- WE CAN ONLY RESPOND TO APPLICANTS WHO HAVE FILLED OUT AN APPLICATION AND ARE CONSIDERED A GOOD MATCH FOR THIS PET. Story
Meet Great White! Great White is a 1 year old, 61 lb Great Pyrenees mix who loves to be outside and around people! Great White's superpowers include loving everyone he meets, and being a good listener (he is a fast learner and already knows some basic commands). He is also completely house trained! Some of his favorite things are bones, and spending time outside either on walks or just soaking up the sun (he even loves the snow)! If you’re looking for the biggest lover who loves affection and is happy to be your companion whether on the couch or outside, he may be your perfect match! Great White is currently being fostered in East Brunswick, NJ. His adoption fee is $425. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

Story
Spots is currently in a foster home at a rescue in Oklahoma. We are looking for a home in a state where people treat their animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport near one of the cities listed at the bottom. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Spots is a female mixed breed, possibly Great Pyrenees and Springer Spaniel and she is around 1 year old. -Showed up at a woman's house as a stray -Very friendly but is hand shy. When you go to pet her head, she ducks out of the way. We assume she has dealt with someone who was not nice to her. She gladly lets you pet her back and shoulders and is better with having her head petted after a few minutes. -Her tail wags the entire time you are with her; she's a happy girl. -Walks well on a leash. -63 pounds at time of spay. -Gets along with other dogs -We think she would get along with kids. Can test her with cats upon request. -Video of Spots: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_RNNd2ToFjo Spots is spayed, vaccinated (Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella), has been dewormed, a negative heartworm test (January 14th), and on monthly flea/tick/HW prevention. Health certificate and exam will be performed less than 10 days prior to transport. Adoption fee is $650 total, this is including all vetting above and $250 transport cost. If you are interested in adopting Spots, FILL THIS OUT FIRST: https://form.jotform.com/243134969050053. Then call/text 580-257-0622 or email luckypawsdoghouse@gmail.com if you'd like.
