Story
This sweet boy was left behind by his adored owner, through no fault of his. It very nearly broke his heart. He's coming around & is trusting with his whole heart again. He is SUPER smart (can open doors), and loyal to a fault. We'd like to see him go to a forever home with someone who can be with him a lot. Retired, take-your-dog-to-work adopter would be perfect. He is dog door trained & 100% accident free. No known serious baggage, i.e.; no storm, vet, or stranger phobias. Rides nicely in vehicle, behaves himself anywhere in public on leash. He will not be adopted to a working home as a livestock guardian. Pet/companion family only. Inside dog with outside privileges. Fenced yard required. Loves everyone but Is also very fond of men. Unusual for a rescue dog. UTD on all vacs, 4DX, micro chipped. Prefer Midwest, we will not put him on a commercial animal transport. Private vehicle only. Story
Luna is a sweet and loving dog. Unfortunately, she had to be surrendered from her owner for no reason of Luna. Instead of coming to the shelter, Luna is being fostered. Enjoys going for walks. She doesn't really pay any attention to the kittens/cats in the lobby. She has such an easy going personality.

Story
Rover is appx 1-2 yrs old, and 90 lbs. He is a big boy, and loves to explore, so a secure fenced yard is a must for this boy! Rover loves going for walks, and does pretty good on leash. He is using a doggy door, and he enjoys laying out in the sun, soaking up the warmth. Rover loves to play fetch!  He will bring the toy or ball back to you, play with it for a bit, then drop it and step back for you to throw it again. He is also quite a ball player, give him a basket ball or soccer ball and he is ready to roll. He loves playing with big balls that roll around so he can chase them. He loves it when you kick the ball so he can give chase! Rover has met other dogs, he is not a candidate for a home with another male dog and though he does do well with female dogs, he prefers to be the only dog in the home, so he can have the attention for himself.
