Story
Hello, I'm Mo! I'm the sweetest, friendliest, most curious and smartest dog you'll ever meet. I've lived most of my life outdoors, so I could adapt again to that life or life inside loving you. If you're looking for a friend that can turn any situation into a comedy sketch, I'm your dogs. Adopt me, and let's create our own sitcom! If you're interested in adopting me, fill out an adoption application online at www.polkcountyhumanesociety.org/adopt where you will also find a link to reserve me for an appointment. Some pets are in foster homes or may already have an appointment scheduled, so the appointment is important to make sure I will be available to meet you when you come. Polk County Humane Society is located in Bolivar, Missouri, but also makes transports to the Denver, CO, Des Moines, IA and St. Louis areas twice monthly. For potential adopters in those areas, we can do a virtual visit using FaceTime or another app. Just request an appointment using the same link, but note that you want the visit to be virtual. We will call you at the time of the visit once it is confirmed. For long distance transports to Colorado and Iowa, there is an additional $100 fee to cover the cost of the transport ($65) and a health certificate from a veterinarian ($35). For transports to St. Louis, the additional fee is $50 to help cover gas. Going that last mile home for our sweet pets! All of our pets are neutered or spayed, have vaccinations appropriate for their age, treated with flea/tick/heartworm prevention, dewormed and dogs are also microchipped. #adoptdontshop ##2032005##

See Luna live in action: https://www.swh.org/staff-favorites.htmlLuna is a 7-year-old Anatolian Shepherd/Pyrenees mix and a shelter favorite. She weighs around 90lbs and is a giant fluffball! She absolutely loves being outdoors in addition to playing with toys. She has some stranger danger in the beginning, and once she's comfortable with you, she will let you snuggle and love on her all you want! Luna enjoys the company of adults and would prefer not to have any kids or fur siblings in her future home. She'd be thrilled to find someone that will get her a huge bed to snooze on and lots of stuffies to play with. Luna is a sweetie pie, and she's ready to find her forever home!
