Story
Meet Darcy and Molly: A Pair of Lifelong Friends in Need of a Loving Home Darcy, a stunning 10-year-old Great Pyrenees, and her sister Molly, a sweet Border Collie mix, have spent their entire lives together. Their world changed when their beloved owner had to enter a nursing home, leaving these two devoted companions in search of a new family. Our rescue specializes in helping terminally ill individuals find new homes for their pets, and we were honored to welcome both Darcy and Molly into our care. These two are inseparable, and we're committed to finding them a home where they can stay together, providing each other comfort and companionship through this transition. About Darcy: Darcy is a gentle giant with a heart of gold. Despite her size, she is incredibly friendly and approachable, making fast friends with everyone she meets—people of all ages, including children. Darcy is housebroken, well-mannered, and even behaved wonderfully during her veterinary visits. At her age, she knows what she likes and prefers the calm company of her sister Molly over the hustle and bustle of other dogs. She has lived successfully with small dogs. About Molly: Molly may be smaller, but she looks up to Darcy for guidance and reassurance. The bond between these two is unbreakable, and Molly draws strength from Darcy’s calm demeanor. Together, they make the perfect pair, balancing each other out and providing mutual comfort. Although she is 10 years old, true to her border collie nature, she has lots of energy and loves to play toys and zoom around the yard. What They Need: We’re looking for a family that understands the special grooming needs of a Great Pyrenees and is committed to daily brushing to keep Darcy looking and feeling her best. Both girls enjoy daily walks and would thrive in a home that can offer them the love, attention, and care they deserve. They love to go on walks and know basic commands. Health and Wellness: Darcy and Molly have received comprehensive senior wellness care, including bloodwork, vaccinations (rabies, distemper, lepto, bordetella, and flu), and both are spayed and microchipped. They are healthy, happy, and ready to bring joy to a new family. They both has professional grooming sessions. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to this incredible duo, please reach out to us. Darcy and Molly have so much love to give and are eager to start the next chapter of their lives together—with you. Story
We took Cosmo as a foster puppy when he was less than 10 weeks old. He had been left a local vet's office with fishhooks stuck in his feet. They had nicknamed him Fish, so we still often call him Cosmo Fish. He is about 9-10 months old right now. He is a ball of energy and is really too much for us to handle with our 2 other dogs and 4 kiddos at home. He is great with kids but does get a little too excited and will knock down smaller kids and sometimes tries to jump up on people. He gets along great with other dogs. He is also starting to show that he;s a guardian breed and barks for attention, or protection of his territory, when people walk by and he is in the yard. Unfortunately, he is just too much for us. We cannot give him the time, attention, and exercise he needs with the kids and other dogs at home.

Story
We adopted Finn in 2019 from a shelter when he was 6 months old. Since then we had a child in 2021, and another July 2024. He is a very lovey and clingy dog, and the kids have taken up a lot of the attention he used to get. He started getting depressed and more anxious with our first child, and much more so with the second. Because of this, we came to the difficult decision to find him a new home where he can get the attention he deserves and be happier. In general, Finn prefers women. We believe he had previous trauma with men before we adopted him, and he tends to be more wary of them before warming up to them. But once he does, he's a giant loving pup! He does have anxiety around car rides and new people, and takes trazodone as needed for that. He loves the outdoors, snuggling, treats, and tug of war. It's with a sad heart that we're asking if you could help us relocate him to a family where he can be the center of attention, and well taken care of.
