Story
Meet Samson, a 2 and a half year old Great Pyrenees! He is looking for a new home. I sadly cannot support him anymore due to his determined nature of escaping (which is known for his breed). While he currently lives with another dog and they get along, he is very anxious about meeting new dogs and has posed too much of a safety risk when he gets loose in the neighborhood. It would be nice for him to go to a home with a large yard or fence where he can be his breed and patrol his home in a safe manner. He doesn't play too much with toys, but does show a silly side once in awhile.

Story
Meet Darcy & Molly: A Perfect Pair Looking for Their Forever Home Some bonds are unbreakable—just like the one between Darcy and Molly. These two lifelong companions lost their home when their beloved owner had to enter a nursing home, and now they’re looking for a new family to love them just as much as they love each other. They may be opposites in energy, but together, they’re the perfect balance. Darcy, a 10-year-old Great Pyrenees, is the wise and gentle protector, while Molly, a Border Collie mix of the same age, is the playful and spirited one. Their differences make them a truly special pair, and we’re committed to finding them a home where they can stay together—because that’s all they’ve ever known. Meet Darcy: The Gentle Guardian 🐾 ✨ Calm, affectionate, and dignified ✨ A true gentle giant who adores people (including children!) ✨ Housebroken, well-mannered, and cooperative for vet visits ✨ Enjoys leisurely strolls, lounging in the yard, and soaking up attention ✨ Has arthritis and some age related spinal issues but is still happy and mobile ✨ Good with small dogs, cats, and even chickens! Meet Molly: The Free-Spirited Sidekick 🎾 ✨ Lively, playful, and full of personality ✨ Loves zooming around the yard and playing with toys ✨ Draws comfort and confidence from Darcy’s calm presence ✨ Well-behaved but thrives with daily activity and mental stimulation ✨ Good with small dogs, cats, and chickens Their Ideal Home 🏡 Only dogs or small dog companions: They do best without large, high-energy dogs. 🐾 A family who understands Darcy’s grooming needs: Great Pyrenees require regular brushing to stay comfortable. 🚶 Daily walks and space to play: While Darcy enjoys a relaxed lifestyle, Molly still has bursts of energy and loves outdoor time. 💛 A loving home that will cherish them both: These two are inseparable, and their future family should embrace their unique dynamic. Health & Care ✔ Spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped ✔ Comprehensive senior wellness exams, including bloodwork ✔ Recently professionally groomed ✔ Happy and healthy, ready for their next adventure! 💌 Ready to Meet Them? We know adopting two big dogs—especially ones with different energy levels—isn’t for everyone. But for the right family, Darcy and Molly will be the most rewarding companions. If you think you’re the perfect match, email us at tysonsplacerescue@gmail.com or fill out an adoption application here: https://tysonsplacerescue.org/cat-and-dog-adoptions/#adopt 🐾 Could you be the happy ending Darcy & Molly are waiting for? 🐾

Story
Hi! This big boys name is Mishka (Meesh-ka) and it means little bear in Russian, which he is literally the size of a little bear! He’s such a loving, affectionate, funny boy. He loves people and animals but is solely an inside dog, not outside. He’s the perfect dog for me and what i want, but unfortunately I’m going to Basic Training and AIT for the Army, and I’ll be gone for 5 months. My mom won’t be able to take care of him how he needs so, this is the best option for him. So even though this boy is a perfect dog, he’s a lot of responsibility. He needs grooming every 3 weeks or so, eats a LOT of food (he’s 105bs and growing, so that’s between 6-7 cups of food) and his hind legs are a little deformed so stairs are a little hard for him. Other than that one thing, his legs don’t bother him and it’s no medical concern. But i want to make sure that this information is shared so i can most literally find him a perfect home! I’m trying to avoid taking him to the ASPCA for as long as i can
