Bert needs your help! He is looking for SPONSORS!! Bert is a sanctuary dog and he will spend the rest of his days on the farm in wonderful care. A sanctuary animal, is one that is deemed unadoptable for whatever reason (behavioral or medical) and it is not a situation where euthanasia is the best choice. But animals like Bert take a lot of love and needed support! If you would be interested in donating, please click here: https://gofund.me/601c3f00 If you would be interested in sponsoring him on a regular basis, email us at oakwoodmeadowssanctuary@gmail.com

Story
Jack is in need of a loving home. As a middle-aged male, he may not have the same energy levels as younger dogs, but he makes up for it with his sweet and docile nature. He is content with a more relaxed and inactive lifestyle, making him an ideal companion for those who prefer a quieter pace. Jack's easy-going personality makes him a pleasure to be around, and he gets along well with other dogs. His gentle nature and friendly attitude make him the perfect addition to any family. Despite his age, Jack still has so much love to give and is patiently waiting for someone to open their heart and home to him. With his sweet and lovable demeanor, Jack is sure to bring joy and happiness to whomever is lucky enough to welcome him into their home. This dog is sheltered in a foster based, nonprofit rescue. Story
This handsome guy with a few cute curls is looking for his forever home. He is bonded with his foster mom and doggie sister, but I feel he will adjust to a new home with a little time and patience. He hasn't had much socialization so is timid meeting people but quickly warms up and gives kisses. Jake will make a fantastic pet for an active individual or family. House & crate trained. NOTE: If both him and Joy are adopted by the same people, the second dog's adoption fee will be 1/2 price. **Any questions about Jake, please contact his foster mom at: (989)313 - 4874This dog is sheltered in a foster based, nonprofit rescue in Crossville, TN. Story
This beautiful girl with cute curls is looking for her forever home. She is bonded with her foster mom and doggie brother, but I feel she will be fine with a little time and patience with a new family. She hasn't had much socialization so is timid meeting people but quickly warms up and gives kisses. Joy loves romping in a fenced yard and chasing balls. She will make a fantastic pet for an active individual or family. House & crate trained. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Bonnie! She was found wandering around in a neighborhood in the rural south and taken to a dog pound in KY.  When her owners did not claim her, HDDCR happily stepped in to care for her.  Bonnie is gentle and submissive girl with her people, and she has a submissive grin that is seen from time to time as she wiggles her butt and tail full force. Her whole body dances when she is excited, and she is often enthusiastic about showing affection. Bonnie is housebroken and usually quiet in the house. She loves being outside and enjoys laying in the grass. She also loves to work out her zoomies as well by bouncing around the yard as you chase her. True to her breed, she does monitor her yard and chases away would-be intruders like squirrels. She is trained on both the flexi-leash and plain 9-foot leather lead for walks. Bonnie came to us with behaviors like jumping up for attention and hugs (we think she was encouraged to do this in the past). We also believe she was kept as an inside/outside working farm dog. Bonnie is very tolerant of being brushed, wiped down, and having her feet handled. If this beautiful girl sounds right for you, please submit your online adoption application today. Bonnie can’t wait to meet you!     Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.    Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
