Story
Meet Layla, the reigning queen of relaxation! This sweet 60 pound, Aussie/Great Pry mix pretty girl loves to take it easy, whether it's lounging on the couch, basking in the sun, or snoozing her day away in her favorite spot.  At 6 years of age, Layla has made is known that she prefers a calm, peaceful environment where she can indulge in her love of napping without too much excitement.  She’ll happily keep you company during your quiet moments, and will always be up for a long walk or playtime with feline friends who are her favorite four-legged friends. Layla would do best in a home without young children or other dogs, as she loves her space and enjoys a slower, more serene pace of life. If you're seeking a loyal, affectionate companion who values comfort above all else, Layla is your perfect match.   This beauty is housebroken and loves to run around the yard with her people.  Years ago Layla decided that she wanted to be the only dog in her home and that is how she has lived and what we are seeking for her again.  She has been living as the only companion in the home until 3 years ago when the family started having children.  Now the young toddlers are having their normal growing up noises and activities create a less than calm environment for Layla.  Her family knows it will be best for Layla to find a new and quieter home without the toddler chaos.  Critter Cavalry Rescue knows that many dogs do not transition well with toddlers that enter the home after they were the only dogs early in life.  Layla is so loved and because of that her owners are admitting that she needs a new start that suits her laidback demeanor. Children over 10 years will be fine. This dog is good on leash walks but doesn’t need to be at dog parks where other dogs will not respect her “space”.  She is crate trained but honestly she does no damage if left loose during the day for many hours.  Layla does love cats and is a very loving girl that is beautiful and very smart.  She has so many years left to bring joy and companionship to someone that just wants her as the only dog and will treasure her as the special girl that she truly is. If you are interested in this girl please write to ccrtennessee@gmail.com She is ready for a new and fresh start.       PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJanuary 10, 2025, 10:20 pm

Story
This charismatic and beautiful young 1 year-old, 72 lbs Great Pyrenees girl is called Myra. Found in the Nashville Tennessee area as a stray this girl is now in New England area in a foster home.   We are looking for a mature and settled home that is quiet and will be a leader for Myra and help her to know that she must follow the rules of the household. This girl has a warm and uplifting smile and a huge desire to be petted and given attention. She is wonderful with other dogs and loves to play in a fenced yard.  She is housebroken and comfortable in a home.  We have key suggestions as to how to set boundaries for such a big girl when getting acclimated to a new environment and family. Story
This beautiful girl is a beautiful Great Pyr mix girl mixed with a Doodle that met her Great Pyr mom on the rural property she lived outside on as a working dog.  Remi was born around October 20th and about 14 weeks old and weighs 18 pounds.  This beauty has been raised by a diligent foster mom who has taught her crate manners, social skills, sit and shake and almost has her housebroken.  She is good with other dogs and would be fine with cats.  She is so happy in nature and pretty good on a leash already in her short time of training efforts. She will be an 80 pounds girl we believe and she will be so easy to train and continue to shape into a snuggly and loving family companion.  If you are interested please let us know by emailing Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com.   She is ready to go now.  Spayed and all 3 parvo distemper shots for puppies, rabies, microchipped and wormings and vet check ups done.  PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJanuary 28, 2025, 12:57 pm

Story
Introducing Salt, a charming 2-year-old Great Pyrenees and Lab mix who perfectly blends the lovable traits of both breeds. Weighing in as a big, sweet boy, he embodies the essence of a gentle giant. Salt’s calm and affectionate demeanor makes him not only a wonderful companion but also a source of comfort and joy for anyone lucky enough to share their life with him. Salt is incredibly sociable and does exceptionally well with children, making him a fantastic family pet. His patience and gentle nature mean he can handle the exuberance of young ones with grace. His playful spirit is complemented by a calm demeanor, making him equally happy to play fetch in the yard or snuggle up on the couch for a cozy movie night.
