Story
Odin is a truly handsome, young, 88 pound, Great Pyr boy that was born 1/2/23 and is looking for a family to love and chill with.  This big boy is fully grown and is the so very easy going and good natured.  He was raised with his brother Thor on a country property owned by a senior lady who has come to realize that both the brothers need homes where they can be an inside dog and part of the family.  She cannot provide that and so is now willing to let each one go to separate families that might have children (he loves children) and to be a part of maybe even living with other dogs or cats.  He is good with everyone he meets and all creatures.  This boy is not housebroken as he has never been inside for any length of time to learn the rules and the signals for potty breaks.  He is a loving and easy dog to have around and we want him to become a part of a family life that offers him a big dog bed and lots of love and guidance.  He is good with meeting new people and doesn’t bark excessively at all.  He will bark if he is bored outside in a pen.  He plays nicely and is fun and happy.  If you are interested in this one year old handsome boy please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com and let us know where you live:  city and state and let’s start a conversation about him possibly becoming a part of a special family lifestyle.   PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.           PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comNovember 4, 2024, 11:48 pm

Story
We are so proud to introduce a special boy named Tex.  He is a Great Pyr mixef with Anatolian Shepherd And is only 20 months old and 80 lb. This boy was part of accidental litters born on a 100 acre farm that was raising goats and the owner failed to spay the females who were guarding the goats.  Soon there were way too many dogs on the property and the man was running out of money to feed the dogs as well as the goats. Tex is one of those special boys that is not only handsome, but he is a deeply thoughtful and gentle dog who has the spirit of an old soul. True to his breeds - Anatolian Shepherd and Great Pyrenees, Tex is a watcher and would rather sit on his haunches to see things unfold than jump in the middle of something to make things happen.  He approaches everything like that...Whether it's dinner time, where he is waiting to see which bowl is his, or when he is running out in the foster's field watching and waiting to decide which group of dogs he wants to play with.  All decisions are measured and thoughtful. He approaches people like that as well. It took him awhile to seek his foster out for a pat and an ear scratch. He has never had an unkind word with anyone but insists on guarding his heart until he knows for sure that everything will be ok. When he comes in the house he checks out every room (patrolling as he would outside) and then finds his happy spot to watch and observe his people.  Tex is a treasure to consider in your lifetime of dog ownership. He will be a very special one that will have an entire long and loving chapter in your book of life. If you are interested in this boy we call Tex, Please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comNovember 11, 2024, 7:28 pm

Story
This charismatic and beautiful young 1 to 2-year-old, 72 lb Great Pyrenees girl is called Myra. Found in the Nashville Tennessee area on the beautiful Natchez Trace, historic Road, Myra is now currently in a small rescue that has given her limited time to find her way to Foster home or a forever home through Critter Cavalry Rescue. This girl has a warm and uplifting smile and a huge desire to be petted and given attention. No one came forward after 10 days to claim her and so her clock is now ticking rather fast and loud. She must get out of the shelter and Critter Cavalry Rescue has now started the search for that perfect foster or forever home. She is a beauty that doesn't need her life to be snuffed out at a shelter. Critter Cavalry is more than willing to pay all cost for this girl to exist somewhere temporarily or hopefully we can find a forever home soon. Please contact us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com or leave a text message at 615-661-5333. PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comNovember 16, 2024, 7:24 am

Story
Adoption donation $499 weight  79 lbs  Age: 1 year as of 3/23/2024              Logan is a friendly and sweet boy who is the quintessential family dog, he adores children and just loves to be with his people. if you sit down, you will likely find his big head nestled on your lap. He loves toys and bones and is a very easy-going boy. Logan is 100% House trained.        Logan definitely needs a yard, this boy loves to be outside! He doesn’t go far, if you call him, he will come right over to you. he is leash trained and if you have a big enough crate, he will go in there for naps.         Logan’s father is a purebred Great Pyrenees and mom is a 35 lb mixed breed. His original owners in Mississippi put two of his sisters in a cardboard box in front of their house with a sign that said “free puppies.” Wags rescued the puppies and found them loving homes. The owners refused to give up Logan and his sister Lila but kept them tied up outdoors. Wags was finally able to  convince them to relinquish the two and Logan and Lila went to the rescue, enjoying freedom for the first time. Lila has just been adopted, now it’s time for Logan to find a loving home of his own.         Logan got along well with most of the dogs at the rescue, although he’s definitely the alpha male and does not like to be challenged by another male. In his foster home in the northeast Logan lived with three females, including a puppy who jumped all over him, and he just wagged his tail. We’ve noticed that he does fine with small and medium dogs but tends to get more alpha with dogs his size. For that reason, we would prefer a home with dogs smaller than him or just a home where he can be the center of attention, he really just loves people so much.        Logan has been neutered and is up-to-date on his vaccines. He is a healthy boy who is ready to make a lucky family a loving companion. All Wags adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip  and transport to the northeast.
