Paris-Great Pyrenes/Border Collie female, ~ 3 yr. (May 2023) Email rescuebc@hotmail.com for application. Paris was adopted from the Rescue as a small puppy. Recently she was returned to the Rescue when they could no longer take care of her. She's lived her whole life in a family setting and is used to being around other dogs. Cats do not seem to interest her either. Paris needs an experienced dog owner as her new home. She is well mannered, crate trained, house trained and walks well on the leash. She' s a large size adult, probably close to 100#, and enjoys an active lifestyle. The adoption fee is $300 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption. For our application, please email rescuebc@hotmail.com for an application.

Story
Meet Tyberious! This handsome pup came to us in November 2023 and is looking for a patient home that will continue teaching him that the world and new people are not so scary! There is reason to believe that Tyberious was not treated the kindest in his previous home and will need to go into a home where only positive reinforcement training is used and where the people in his home can provide a structured environment for him to continue building his confidence. In his time with us, Tyberious has been very neutral and curious about other animals. He pays no mind to the other dogs in the kennel and has been friendly with with the office cats he has met! He is a very smart and food-motivated dog and has made a lot of progress even with his basic training since coming to us. Ty currently knows 'sit' ,'down', 'off' and is working on 'leave it' and his leash manners. There is nothing he is not willing to work on as long as he is given a treat in return! Tyberious is an extremely goofy pup once he gets comfortable with you! He is an absolute cuddle bug once he has bonded with you and wants nothing more than to snuggle He is always ready to play a game of tug whether he is lounging around with you inside or hanging around outside. Tyberious loves exploring the outdoors and going on car rides as long as he has someone there to reassure him that everything is fine. He gravitates more toward the women he has met but with patience (and treats!) does warm up to men as long as he is provided the time to get to know them. Once he has all that puppy energy out, Tyberious settles well and enjoys having a chew or Kong to entertain himself with. Squeaky toys and stuffed toys are his absolute favorite to play with and he will keep himself endlessly entertained by tossing them around or playing fetch. All this big boy wants to do is find a home where he can grow into the wonderful dog staff knows him to be! If you are interested in visiting Tyberious and have an approved application, feel free to contact us about more information or a time to meet!

Story
Meet Summer – A Sweet & Loyal Companion! Summer is a 3-year-old Great Pyrenees/American Bulldog mix who adores people, including kids. She doesn’t lick but loves to gently sniff faces as her way of saying hello! She gets along well with other dogs and enjoys playing and cuddling, but she prefers to be fed separately due to food and toy guarding. She’s crate trained and finds comfort sleeping in her crate at night. When first adopted, she had a sleep startle, but this has improved over time. Summer loves being outside and would thrive with an active owner or a fenced yard. She needs a home that understands her food boundaries but will appreciate her affectionate, fun, and loyal nature. Looking for a devoted companion? Summer might be the perfect match! Reach out to learn more.

Story
The "care bear's" mother was predominantly Australian Shepherd with some Red Heeler mix, it is reported the father was most likely Poodle and Great Pyrenees. They have the gentlest sweetest, kindest personality. They are already trying to interrupt their fellow puppy friends from picking on the other little ones. They are smart. They will be gentle giants and great companions. While their mother weighed 30- 35#, we expect them to get between 45 and 60 lbs. The girls being a little smaller than the boys. They are house broken to cloth puppy pads and going outside. strayheartsrescue@outlook.com https://forms.gle/suhbpui9RXiVmvoJ9
