Story
Reagan was a stray found by a caring lady that offered her shelter, food and water during a very hot southern summer. The lady offered to foster her for a time while we worked to get her vetting done and find her a furever home. We thought that that had happened in NH however it appears that cats are not her thing. She wants to play and the resident cat is not interested. They are regularly butting heads because the cat just wants to be left alone and young Reagan is full of playful energy. There is now a concern that Reagan may get scratched in the eye since she does not honor the cats wishes to be left alone. So Reagan is in NH now and being fostered by her amazing adoptive home family until she can find a home where she can be safe and happy. A good home for Reagan will be a home without cats. Probably no small dogs at her age (8 months) or small kiddo's that may get knocked down. If you are interested in learning more about Reagan please email Cathy at pawsofdalehollow@gmail.com

Story
Posted February 2024 Ben is the most adorable and sweetest boy! He is 58 lbs at 10 months so he will be a big bundle of sweetness once he is full grown. He is hanging out with lots of dogs and humans when he gets to go to doggy day care with his foster mom. Mom is a great pyrenees or mix, and dad was possibly a shepherd or mix. Whoever adopts Ben will be getting a GREAT and well-adjusted dog! Interested in meeting Ben or one of our other sweeties? Check out our adoption application. Please note: we do not have a physical facility where the dogs are housed; they are in foster care throughout southern Maine primarily. Our expectation is that a potential adopter will meet the dog(s) in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved. Thank you for considering rescue.
