Tacko is looking for a nice, easy, go- with- the- flow- type home. He`s a gentle giant that will lean into you for love and cuddles. Tacko is an expert on the leash with amazing manners. The ideal home for Tacko would be one that is respectful of his needs, no cats, no kids under the age of 12. Willing to meet other dogs but they must be on the calmer side. He does not like high energetic, in- your- face- dogs. He would do well on a large farm or someone that is home most of the day. If you are interested in Tacko, please come to KVHS during opening hours. Don`t forget to bring in all family members and other dogs for a meet and greet.

Sadly we have decided to rehome our boy Duke. He is 4 years old. He loves all other dogs, cats and rabbits. He has been around both horse and chickens and never had an issue. He is house trained but heavily favors being outdoors no matter the weather. We have decided to rehome for two reasons. We have a reactive older dog that really doesnt e being around other dogs so it has been a challenge keeping them separated over the last couple of years. We are rehoming in order to reduce the stress surrounding that issue. As for children, Duke has only ever known being around kids, infants-teenage. He has recently become very protective of the kids, from reacting when the neighbors are out to taking longer than usual to be okay with friends and family stopping over. Would love to find him a home with a fenced yard and even some animals to protect. He prefers to be outdoors which has been hard with our neighbors being so close by. This has been a hard decision, he deserves better.

Meet Baby Girl!She`s silly, goofy, and loves to talk when playing! She`s full of spunk and loves everyone she has met. She`s truly a peoples` dog! She loves to go for walks, and does very well on leash! Sometimes she does like to follow her nose, but with a quick reminder of saying her name, she`ll fall back in step next to you! She loves her food, and is very treat motivated! She knows `sit` very well as long as she gets `paid` for it. She also knows how to walk on a leash and how to give `paw.` Lastly, Baby Girl is looking for a home with children over the age of 6 as she likes to cuddle on her terms only. We think she might enjoy a feline or canine friend or two.Interested in meeting her? Swing on down to KVHS during available adoption hours!
