Story
Tib is a Great Pyrenees. He's a big boy, weighing in at 80lbs. He loves to be around people and gets along well with other dogs. He's easy going and is unbothered by most things. He is very well mannered and socialized. He does not want to be an outdoor dog. He prefers to be indoors with his people. With any breed some research should be done before committing to one. 5 things you need to know about Great Pyrenees: 1. They dig 2. They bark 3. They shed twice a year for 6 months at a time 4. They drool 5. They roam These aren't traits you can "train out of them". They make wonderful pets in the home or on a farm. They're loyal and stubborn. Tib is awaiting the next part of his life. The part where he gets his own family. He is neutered, UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, Heartworm negative positive for Lyme and is on medication to treat. Treated for flea/tick. For return calls on Tib, please submit an application. It is much more productive to speak with you when we have an idea about your living situation. Due to limited resources and time, we will not be answering questions or returning calls until we have an approved application. That is the first step in our adoption process. His adoption fee is $300 Applications can be found on our website: https://www.jessaminehumanesociety.org

Story
Available for Adoption - BONDED PAIR Bo & Luke $100 Adoption Fee for the pair Loyal Guardians Seeking Their Forever Acres! Luke and Bo are a pair of 4-year-old Great Pyrenees-German Shepherd mix brothers, turning 5 in March. These gentle giants have been inseparable their whole lives and are a bonded pair, each with his own unique personality that perfectly complements the other. About Luke Luke is the brave protector, always keeping a watchful eye over his family and surroundings. He’s a little more serious, but his loyalty and bravery make him a steadfast companion. About Bo Bo, on the other hand, is the playful spirit. While he can be a bit shy at first, he warms up quickly and loves a good romp with his brother. He’s also the one more likely to snooze on a comfy couch or soak up the sun. Both dogs are as easygoing as a Pyrenees can be – they love lounging but also need space to patrol and stretch their legs. They’re happiest when they can roam together in a big, open, fenced-in yard. Training & Background Luke and Bo know the basics – “go lay down,” “leave it,” “come,” and more, although “sit” has always been a bit of a mystery to them! They’re house-trained but may need a bit of support while they adjust to a new home. In their previous environment, they had acres to explore and shared their space peacefully with pigs, horses, poultry, and even cats. They’ve also grown up with kids, making them a wonderful addition to a family. Health & Ideal Home Both boys are in great health and simply need a home that matches the calm, spacious life they once knew. Luke and Bo would thrive in a rural or semi-rural setting where they can enjoy the outdoors but also have a cozy place inside to call their own. Why They Need a New Home With heavy hearts, their family must rehome Luke and Bo due to life changes. This decision isn’t easy, but it’s made out of love to ensure they can have the space and lifestyle they’re happiest in. They’ve brought so much joy to their family, and now they’re hoping to bring that joy to a new home that fits them perfectly. If you have the room and heart for these two gentle guardians, Luke and Bo are ready to bring a whole lot of loyalty, love, and character to your home. All puppies, large breed or small, require a commitment to raising them to be good dog citizens and training is absolutely necessary. We are looking for homes that have considered this are willing to make that commitment. *All rescues at FairyTails are fully ready to join your family! Our PETS come to you vet checked, Wormed, Blood panel (if needed) spayed/neutered, dental check up, heart worm checked, flea/tick & heart worm treatment given, microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, and fully professionally groomed! To help ease the transition into their forever home, they will come with a swag bag of goodies and necessities to get you started on your FURever journey together. *Approved application and adoption fee apply* To sweeten the new family bond- Canine Trainer Chip Gray will include your first training consultation with your adoption!! Story
Hi! I'm Callie. I'm a gorgeous 2+ years old Pyrenees/Lab mix! I arrived at the kennel in late October, so I haven't been there too long. I've had a hard time over the last year. I was a stray for most of that time. A friendly postal worker noticed me and kept an eye on me. Eventually she and another good samaritan trapped me and took me in while they found a great rescue for me to come to. Of course I was very scared and intimidated when I first arrived at GRRAND. I would curl up in the corner of my kennel and not want to come out. But the kennel volunteers would sit with me in my run for hours, calmly petting and reassuring me that everything was about to get so much better - and they were right. Now I get to run and play with a ton of dogs in the play yard. I have so many new friends. I willingly go to the volunteers now for love and treats. We even go walking off-site and they tell me how wonderful I am on a leash. I get to sleep in a nice warm kennel with a blanket. I get two meals a day and as many treats as I can convince the vols to give me. It's so much better than living alone in deserted structures and dumpster diving for food! So I've come a really long way. I'm liking other dogs, trusting people and starting to enjoy life indoors! I think it's time for the next stage of my life where I can move in with a loving family. Could you help get me out of the kennel and into your loving family? I hope so! Callie was initially very scared and withdrawn, but with lots of love and attention from our awesome volunteers, she is starting to come out of her shell.  She is very calm and sweet. Our vet thinks she's around 2.5 years old. She loves to play with most other dogs in the play yards, as long as they are calm and laid-back. We also have her walking on a leash and she's doing wonderfully. She loves to be gently petted.  She is still a little timid with people she doesn't know, but warms as soon as she trusts you.  Until Callie is settled in a home she is going to be a flight risk, so she does need a secure fenced yard. She can scale a 4' fence, so ideally the home will have a 6' privacy fence.  She can go with another calm dog. As she is a flight risk pup she will not be able to go in a home with children under 13. We don't know how she does with cats. She does not mess in her kennel run, which is a decent indication she is house trained, but not a guarantee. Her energy level is moderate to low.  Callie is now ready for her next step, to go to a home, either foster or adoptive. Please fill out an app at GRRAND.org if you would like to meet her! ##1854181##
