Story
Winston was adopted as a puppy from a rescue. He is currently 7 years old. Winston is great with kids, although little ones should be careful as he is rambunctious and may knock them over. Winston loves to snuggle and is very loving. I am looking for a home that will give him lots of love, snuggles, exercise, and attention. I would love for him to have a big yard and be taken on walks. He would do best in a home where someone is home more often than not.

Story
Noogie is living in a foster home. Fill out our quick adoption survey, and then we can set up a phone call or meet and greet with the foster! Noogie is: Neutered: Yes! Up to date on vaccines: Yes! Microchipped: Yes! Our microchips will automatically register when an adoption is finalized - Currently taking medication for anxiety support - Recovering from a successful TPLO surgery - Heartworm positive and on activity restriction. Noogie is undergoing treatment at Ellis Clinic at no charge to their adopter. Heartworm is a treatable disease that most dogs make a full recovery from. You can learn more about heartworm treatment on our resource page - https://www.onetail.org/heartworm/ More about Noogie: Housebroken: Yes! Crate trained: No, Noogie has done best with being left to roam free rather than crated or confined to a room when home alone. He's now comfortable for up to 6 hours alone with a companion dog and the support of anxiety medication. He will do best with an adopter who is home more often than not. Leash walking: Doing well! Dog social: Yes, he lives with a resident dog in his foster home and has been doing well. He has seemed most comfortable with calm, respectful dog pals and has shown some mild resource guarding behaviors, for which management is needed. Cat social: Yes, he lives with cats in his foster home and has been doing great with them! Kid friendly: He has done well in brief interactions with kids on walks Noogie likes: - Spending time with his person! - Napping in the sun with his cat and dog pals - Going for car rides, and helping you run your errands Noogie is the definition of a gentle giant. He loves napping, cuddling, and being with his people. He would love a big fur family of cats and dogs. He will sometimes guard his treats, toys, beds, and people from other dogs. He should be fed separately, and management will be needed if in a home with another dog. He has struggled with anxiety when home alone, particularly when confined, and has done best with the help of medication and a dog pal to He's otherwise a calm, quiet, and all-around great and majestic boy! Noogie's adoption fee is $300, and he is ready to be your loyal BFF! Next steps: Email adopt@onetail.org with questions, or submit an application online and we'll be in touch to schedule a meeting: https://www.onetail.org/apply-to-adopt/ *** Our adoption application stays on file for one year and can apply to any dog in our program. Story
Great Gertie came to us from a kill shelter in Kentucky. This is a nice, friendly girl who is good with people & other dogs. She is very sweet, happy but would benefit from some basic obedience and confidence building. Her approx. birth date is 12/01/23 and she currently weighs approx. 35#.We are guessing at her breed make up. She has been vet. checked, spayed, micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. Her adoption donation is $350 and needs to be cash, certified check, money order or a debit/credit card. There is a 3% processing fee when using a debit/credit card. We do not ship or transport. Please email for an application if you would like to provide this nice kid with her forever home. ##2015702##

She is very sweet, happy but would benefit from some basic obedience and confidence building. Her approx. birth date is 11/11/22 and she currently weighs 68#. We are guessing at her breed make up, but she does have double dew claws. She has been vet. checked, spayed, micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. She is heart worm & tick illness negative. This girl has a lazy tongue that always hangs out of her mouth. We had it examined while she was under for her spay and there is nothing wrong with it. Her adoption donation is $250 and needs to be cash, certified check, money order or a debit/credit card.
