We are doing the best we can to find the right home for each dog or cat, just need your help too! :) Three little boys recently came into our rescue from a private family that needed to rehome them. The boys were born on Christmas Day, what a special gift!! Their Dad is a Great Pyrenees and Mom appears to be a large hound mix, possibly catahoula as well?? In honor of their birthdate we gave each boy names of popular characters from our very favorite Christmas movies. The pups were taken from the mother when she was physically not able to nurse these 3 big boys any longer, her health was suffering. So, they have been weaned for a couple of weeks and are doing great. Meet Kevin...as in KEVIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yep, named after Kevin McAllister, the spunky and mischievous little boy from Home Alone. In the movie Kevin was the pesky little brother, kind of forgotten in the hustle and bustle of the family, but in the end not one to be overlooked!! Our little Kevin is that guy. He is THAT little brother. Smaller and feisty and a dash of mischievousness. Kevin was so hard to get a decent picture of, he was all wiggles and silliness. He would run around, then do a big stretch, I had a lot more nonsense pictures than good ones, lol. He is such a happy and snuggly boy and likes to bug his bigger brothers, even when they try to nap. But he soon settles down as well. They are all such great puppies!! Kevin is very lovable, playful, and of course absolutely adorable!! He is looking for a family with a sense of silly and playfulness as well. And--if his family keeps his name, how fun will that to call him..."KEEEVVVIIIN!!!" Kevin is about 7 pounds right now and will be a good sized dog we can assume. His adoption fee is now $300, plus a $100 deposit that will be returned upon proof of neuter when it is age appropriate. Due to the large breed parentage it is vet recommended to postpone neutering until 12-18 months of age. He will go home with plenty of food, treats and supplies to help him happily settle into his new home! Please email Kristine at joysparrows@gmail.com

The pups were taken from the mother when she was physically not able to nurse these 3 big boys any longer, her health was suffering. So, they have been weaned for a couple of weeks and are doing great. Meet the one and only (well, dog version)Yukon Cornelius!!! He is the biggest boy of the brothers, already over 9 pounds, just a tad bigger than Ralphie. He is a big, buff kind of guy, already he seems to be the leader of this little crew. The other brothers seem to follow his lead as much as silly little puppies will. Yukon is a lovable, playful, and pretty laid back guy. He is all about playing and snoozing, but if someone offers up a lap he is all about that. Yukon should be a pretty large dog, he is already around 9 pounds, bigger than the average newborn child! Yukon has a full, lush coat, he is a real teddy bear. Like his brothers, he is so smart. Doing very well on the puppy pads and sleeping peacefully at night. He has the Great Pyr attitude, calm, gentle and loving. And, already a pretty good snuggler. Yukon will go home with plenty of supplies to help him settle into his new home. We are looking for a home that will be with him most of the time, puppies do not do well being left alone for long hours. Great Pyrenees are a wonderful and loving breed, as well as hounds. They are raised to be guardians of the sheep, they are a gentle breed. His adoption fee is now $300, plus a $100 deposit that will be returned upon proof of neuter when it is age appropriate. Due to the large breed parentage it is vet recommended to postpone neutering until 12-18 months of age.
