He is sleeping through the night in the crate after a settling down period. Elliott seems to understand potty is to be accomplished outside. He is always ready for a pet - especially if he sees his sister getting one. His fur is super soft. Elliott is a typical puppy This pup is micro-chipped and up to date on all vaccinations. Given this pups large breed status, it is best for the health of the dog to wait to neuter until 6 months of age. At that point, ARF will cover the cost of a basic neuter at one of our vet partners. The new family will be required to complete a basic obedience course of their choosing. This gentle giant is still gaining confidence in her foster home and is slowly letting her silly, playful personality shine. She loves being near her people and will happily follow you from room to room, just to be part of whatever you’re doing. Chloe is the perfect mix of affectionate and goofy. One minute she’s making you laugh with her clumsy zoomies, and the next she’s leaning into you for the sweetest cuddles. She does like to talk—barking and whining to communicate—so she’ll do best with a family that understands she’s still learning and can give her patience as she continues to grow in confidence. She’s doing great on leash walks and enjoys getting out and exploring. This handsome boy was picked up running at large and based on Facebook posts it was about his third or fourth offense, but no one claimed him. We are guessing that he was a failure at being a livestock guardian because he’s way too social. He’s always wanting to visit someone new. Charlie is a little over a year old and weighs 121 lbs. He was very thin when he first came to us but is now at his perfect weight. He is neutered, up to date on required vaccines, microchipped and heartworm tested negative. He’s house trained and he loves other dogs, but he is a big guy. He also will require a tall fence, and you will have to keep an eye on him because again he likes to visit new people. He also has an obsession with deer! For that reason, a privacy fence would be ideal if you have deer around your home. He’s affectionate and likes to lean on you. He is learning commands like sit and stay and he really tries to please! This is what his foster mom says about him " Charlie is amazing. He is housebroken, loves to be hugged, hasn’t chewed anything up, likes to play but is content just to chill. He walks beautifully on a leash and likes to say hi to everyone he meets. Charlie enjoys sitting and looking out the window, hanging around in the kitchen especially when I’m cooking and going for car rides". Although this breed is known for having a stubborn streak, Charlie seems to understand a few commands wait, it’s ok, no, come, let’s go and he will even sit for a treat. But his favorite is Good Boy Charlie❤️" This guy would be a great dog for an active loving family. He’s so sweet!
