Story
Little ole Duke has been the best kept secret at UCAC! We’ve had this boy for almost 2 months only because he has been through the wringer with health issues from his previous life. He is beyond resilient and deserves a loving home where he will never have to wonder about his next meal ever again!! He was being fostered by one of our girls and she had nothing but great things to say! He gets along fantastic with other dogs, doesn’t mind cats at all, walks great on a leash (he was even in a parade!) and house trained himself because he’s such a smart boy! The best part is he is 100% a bed dog! He will sleep next to you all night without a peep or an accident! There has to be a family out there that would love this boy as much as we all do! His adoption fee is $275 and this will include his neuter, microchip and 1 year Rabies vaccine. Please call 618-833-4915. Thank you! Are you interested in adopting this pet? Story
Chrissy and her two sisters were brought to PAWS after a kind couple found them in their yard. Chrissy was adopted and brought back as she was too energetic for the child in the home. She is estimated to have been born around the first of June, 2024. Chrissy is a beautiful girl who is sweet and playful. She is a puppy and very playful so please keep that in mind if you have children or grandchildren in the home. We are unsure of her breed but guessing Border Collie/Great Pyrenees. We were told that the mom was about 40 lbs and "fluffy" and dad was slick haired and about 50 lbs. If you are looking for a medium to large dog, Chrissy would love to be your girl! Please go to pawspaws.org to complete the PAWS application. Once the application is approved, we will contact you to set up meet and greet. Her adoption fee is $250. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on all vaccines including a rabies shot and is on Heartworm preventative.

Story
We adopted Lilly from a shelter in Henderson, KY. They did not have any room for her and she was not eating at the time due to stress. Her previous owners dropped her off after 7years. Theu said if the shelter didn't take her in, she would be put down. When we showed up, she ate for us ans was the sweetest dog. However, when we got home she did not get along w. Our other dogs. We have been trying for 2 years but it's not working. So we currently have to keep them separated, which is not fair to Lilly. She needs to find a home where she can be happy and roam around . She is amazing and so sweet around people. Just not with other dogs. Her previous owners did not own other dogs but she was raised around a few cats. She is very loyal, house trained and loving. She would be perfect for an experienced owner, someone with room for her to walk around. She is micro chipped. Does need her rabies shot for this year.
