He is fully housebroken, knows the commands sit and paw, and loves to catch treats in his mouth. He enjoys tug-o-war and never looses! Frank has done well with some dogs primarily females close to his size. He would do best in a family with children 13 + and no cats. If you are looking for a walking buddy Frank is your guy. All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up to date on preventatives at the time of adoption. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present at the time of your appointment. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. The shelter is currently open by appointment only with an approved application. Please note, all applications are considered general and stay on file for 6 months. Special needs guy with a wobbly walk! It doesn't seem to bother him. Hank was found in some bushes in TX, emaciated and wobbly, of course. He has put on some weight and has an appointment with the neurologist to see if we can get an understanding of the reason behind the wobbles. But the theory so far, is that he had parvo as a pup and that had a neurological effect. He is happy and snuggly and LOVES to be outside. He would love to have a farm to "work"...or at least pretend! He's very sweet and gentle and loves to be loved on!
