An accidental litter to a German Shorthair Pointer mom and a roaming Great Pyrenees dad, this eclectic bunch will make amazing family pets. They will be large dogs, but they are smart and playful. A few key notes about our Rescue… 1. All of our pets start their journey in Memphis Tennessee. 2. No monies exchange hands until the pet has arrived 3. Once adopted, our pets can be transported to Denver, Colorado, the Midwest and all of the north eastern states. 4. We have a Facebook page and an Instagram page. His lineage traces back to a working poultry farm in Mississippi, and while he has been raised as a pet, his heritage is evident in his noble, protective nature. Zeus is currently in the Chicago, IL area. We are seeking an experienced owner who understands the guardian breed temperament and can provide the environment Zeus needs to thrive. The Ideal Career & Home: Zeus is naturally territorial and protective of his people. While he is an affectionate companion indoors, he would benefit greatly from having a "job" to do. He is best suited for: A Working Farm or Large Property: Where his natural guarding instincts can be utilized. A Guard Dog Role: Protecting livestock or a large, fenced territory. Experienced Handlers: Someone familiar with "big white dogs" who can manage his protective drive with confidence. Health & Status: Intact: Zeus is currently intact.

Luna is a 7 year old Great Pyrenees mix, about 55 lbs. If you are one of her people, Luna is incredibly sweet. She is very intelligent and full of energy. She loves to play with her toys and get love, but also loves to relax. She would really benefit from training, we could just never find the right trainer for her. She is not great with walking on a leash, but she does love going for long walks or runs. She has separation anxiety and gets nervous around other dogs and some people. She does not like thunderstorms/fireworks. She is medicated for her anxiety and it helps a ton. She absolutely cannot be in a home with other animals or young children because she is food protective. We hate to re-home our sweet girl, but we now have a child and can’t give her the attention she deserves. We really hope we can find a home that will put in the effort to properly care for Luna and make her feel comfortable and loved. Please reach out with any questions!

He's a fluffy big guy with lots of love in his heart. He doesn't know how big he is but he loves food, treats, chewing all his toys, and occasionally coming up and snuggling with you. He is very sweet in the house and likes his space and own time as much as he likes being with you and playing. Beethoven is heartworm positive and on activity restriction. He is undergoing treatment at Ellis Clinic at no charge to the adopter. Heartworm is a treatable disease that most dogs make a full recovery from.
