Story
Hi there, I'm Cleo—a fun loving and smart Great Pyrenees mix with a dash of Great Dane in my looks. I’m just over a year old (5/28/23), weigh around 60 pounds, female and already spayed. I'm on the lookout for a special family who can appreciate my unique personality and needs. Personality and Preferences: Loves Activities: Count me in for car rides, walks, backyard adventures, or just lounging on the deck watching the world go by. Affectionate and Alert: I adore snuggling with my people and take my job of patrolling the backyard seriously. Intelligent and Playful: I'm a quick learner and enjoy mental stimulation, especially with chew toys and sticks. House Trained: I've got this down pat! No accidents here. Dislikes Crating: I prefer to have my space and freedom. Play Style: I love a good play session and have a natural instinct to chase. My play style is very physical with other dogs, some call it rough, so I might do best as the only pet or with a male dog my size or larger, with proper introductions. Leash Manners: While on walks, I bark at dogs when I see them. Offering me a treat helps distract and refocus me. Resource Guarding: I guard my favorite things like socks, but I'm willing to trade for a treat—I'm a smart negotiator! Ideal Home: My perfect home would be with someone who's around most of the time and has a big fenced yard where I can bask in the sun and stretch my legs. A single person, a couple, a family with older kids -- all will work for me. I thrive on human companionship and get along well with everyone I meet. If you're looking for a loyal companion who's both sweet and smart, I could be the perfect match for you. Let's meet and see if we're meant to be family!   An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online.  http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms     Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org    Note:   Some apartments and neighborhoods  have breed restrictions. We verify rental policies and adhere to any regulations. Please ensure you understand those restrictions before choosing a dog.           October 3, 2024, 7:57 pm

Story
Meet Beary Tree   Beary Tree is a stunning, 3 year old, Great Pyrenees mix. He weighs about 65 pounds. He has a medium energy level, is house trained, and working on crate training, but does well out in the house when left alone.   This guy is Mr. Charisma. He loves everyone and everyone loves him.  He loves car rides and walks. Hikes are a big hit with Beary Tree too, but he can be barky when approaching other dogs. He is working on this and is making progress. His fluffy coat is silky soft and invites many pets which works for him since he feels that there are never enough of those.   He loves hanging out in the yard, so a fenced yard is a good idea for this guy. Beary is a very intelligent dog who enjoys having something to do whether it is working on training, hiking, walking or whatever activity you love, he is up for it. On the flip side, he is also a big fan of daytime naps and just hanging out. Beary will do best in a home where he is your one and only four legged family member.   This sweet boy is a joy and loves his people. He is going to be a great addition to a lucky home. An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online.  http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms   Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. Story
Name: Lulu Age: 1 Year 5 Months Breed: Great Pyrenees Gender: Female DOB: 03/13/2023 Meet Lulu! Introducing Lulu, our calm and sweet Great Pyrenees who was born on March 13, 2023. With her gentle nature and striking presence, Lulu is looking for a loving forever home where she can thrive. Calm and Sweet Lulu is incredibly calm and sweet, with a loving demeanor that makes her a wonderful companion. She has a natural ability to bring a sense of peace and comfort to those around her. Needs Leash Training While Lulu is already potty trained, she does need some leash training. With a bit of patience and guidance, she’ll learn to enjoy her walks and outdoor adventures safely. Typical Pyrenees Barking Lulu has a tendency to bark, which is typical of her breed. It’s part of her protective nature, and with the right training, it can be managed effectively. Needs Space to Run Lulu was surrendered because her previous home was a townhome, which didn’t provide her with the space she needs. Being a large and active breed, Lulu requires a yard and plenty of room to run and explore. A spacious environment is essential for her happiness and well-being. Ready for a Loving Home With her combination of sweetness, calm demeanor, and gentle nature, Lulu is the perfect addition to any loving household. She’s ready to bring joy, love, and companionship to her new family. If Lulu sounds like the perfect companion for you, come meet her! She’s eager to share her love and bring happiness to her forever home. ##2148695##

Story
I got Rosie a few months ago from an abusive household but was told at the time that she was a trained service dog. She has had some training while with me and knows sit, down, place, and come. She does not get along with other dogs who are more confident and I currently live in an apartment complex filled with dogs so it's difficult to take her out without having a run-in with another dog. She loves cuddling and bonding with her people. She loves kids too and I think she would do really well if she was in a single-dog house with a backyard she could go potty in.

Story
This handsome, furry fellow is Jake! He arrived at the shelter as a lost boy on 9/24, and no one has come to reclaim him. Sweet Jake is how hoping for a new, forever home where he will be loved and kept safe so that he never ends up back in the shelter. The volunteers describe Jake as friendly and curious, and he has the softest coat! Jake will sit nicely for treats when asked. He gets excited when offered treats, so he'll need a little help learning to accept them gently! With a little patient guidance, he'll learn in no time. His motto is "stop and smell the flowers" along the way. Jake really likes to take his time on walks and sniff things. If you're looking for walking buddy who likes to amble along and take his time, please come meet Jake! Jake is approximately 3 years old, and he weighs 72 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, and he will be neutered, microchipped, and heartworm tested upon adoption. Jake is waiting patiently in run 883; his ID # is 662164. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.

Story
Meet Saul! /(^.^)\ Hi everyone! My name is Saul, and I am a 4.5 years old Great Pyrenees with the whitest coat around! I currently weigh around 98 pounds, and I am fully grown. Everyone here says I am the biggest cuddle bug around. I love all people and will let you pet me whenever you want, as I thrive off of human interaction. When I see you approaching me, I will let out a low howl to show off my excitement. I DO NOT like other dogs or cats. I have been briefly tested on a leash with goats and chickens and I was ok, but we do not know how I would do once I get comfortable. I have the best leash manners, as I do not pull and will walk right beside you at a slow pace (I like to take my time). I am, however, VERY leash reactive when taking a walk if other animals are around, as I don't like them. I do like to keep my kennel clean too. I love being outside and will lay out in the sun and take a nap all day if you let me. I do have a lot of fur, but I don't mind being brushed at all. I am very protective of my people and will guard you. I need to have a large fenced-in area, maybe even a farm, but I also love a family to spend time with inside. My ideal home would be with an experienced Great Pyrenees dog owner who is a strong dog handler, that way I can thrive in my new home and be set up for success. Currently, I am available for adoption. If you are interested in learning more about me, please stop by the Humane Society of Forsyth County, Tuesday through Thursday between 11 am and 5 pm and Friday and Saturday between 1 pm to 5 pm. I will be waiting patiently to greet you! All my love and floofliness, Saul /(^.^)\

Story
Barbie is a sweet and loving Anatolian Shepherd/Black Mouth Cur Mix. She&#39s estimated to be 3yr old, and weighs 50lbs. Barbie is great with other dogs - she is friendly but also respectful. She quickly adapts to other dogs&#39 play styles and is more submissive in nature. Barbie is house broken, is working on her crate training, and has good leash manners. She already knows her basic commands, and regularly plops over when you ask her to sit so she can receive belly rubs! She has a medium energy level, she enjoys doing a few zoomies but will happily hang out with you and chill. Barbie is a very loving and loyal girl who will make a wonderful addition to a family! She can be a little timid when first meeting people but is quick to warm up and trust you. She adores her humans, and thrives off affection she receives. Barbie would love to have another playful pup in her forever home, but this is not a requirement. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. If you&#39re interested in adopting Barbie, please email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org or submit an application at https://www.barkvilledogrescue.org/applications.
