Story
Updated shots: June 15, 2024. He is more socialized. GIacier was adopted fromanimal shelter on July 3, 2023. I got to keep my other dog company. My son picked out a big dog, but it worked. The dogs get along, last picture. When we first got him, he was very friendly to others. Company would cone over and pet him and we would take him to the farmers market where kids and others would come pet him. Because of our busy scedhule during the school year, I or the kids have not had time to take him out or socialize. Now that i am able to take him for walks he barks at people. He is very protective. While walking a man was too close to me and Glacier scratched him. As i said very protective. But at home, he plays ball with my other dog in the house or back yard, runs around but pretty much lays around and watches tv next to me. He is a great dog, but I dont have time to give him the attention he needs and he is very big. He does shed but that can be minimized with brishing 2-3 times a week.

Story
best with cats or low-key female dogs “Meet Jaxon! This 3 year old,  Great Pyrenees mix, is large, in charge, and ready to rule your roost/couch! Jaxon can organize a toy mess in under 30 seconds and he can return a ball to you even faster. His favorite activities are making sure his people and home are safe, picking up litter on walks so you can discard it (cares about his environment!), and babysitting tennis balls. What he lacks in small-ness he makes up for in the puppy playfulness. He’s crate-trained, good on a leash with harness, and mostly house-trained (so close!). His foster home includes both cats and dogs and he prefers his kitty friends. Interested adopters should expect a couple rounds of dog-testing with any existing dogs (low energy females preferred) and some warm-up time with men.” Age: 3 years old approx  Weight: approx 65 lbs  Temperament: Gets along with adults, kids, dogs  Training: house trained.  Vetting: Spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative  For questions about Jaxon, please email.  chelseacna@gmail.com   &#226&#128&#139To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit. She's a big girl, weighing in at 60 pounds, but don't let her size fool you - she's a big puppy at heart! Polly is a bundle of fun and loves nothing more than playing with other dogs and people. Her playful antics are sure to keep you entertained all day long! Her funny personality will have you in stitches as she bounces around with endless enthusiasm. Story
Hi! I'm Cleo, and I'm ready to find my forever home.  I'm a 12-month-old female Great Pyrenees mix. Yes, I know I look nothing like Great Pyrenees other than the white fur, but I do watch over my home like a GP. And I enjoy patrolling my backyard to protect my family from intruders and strange noises. I love people and am good with new people, older kids, and my family.  I weigh around 60 pounds and am already spayed. I’m totally housebroken. But I'm not a big fan of being crated. I need slow introductions to new dogs, but we get along great after I get to know them! But I'm not cat-compatible. I love walks but go into protection mode when I see another dog. My foster parents are working with me on this.  I have something called resource guarding. If I have something I like (usually a toy or dirty sock), it's mine, and I don't want to give it up. But if you offer me a trade, like a treat, I will easily exchange my item for the treat. I love to cuddle! If all this sounds great, please complete an adoption application and meet me. I'm waiting for you.           An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online.  http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms     Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org    Note:   Some apartments and neighborhoods  have breed restrictions. Story
Meet Beary Tree   Beary Tree is a stunning, 3 year old, Great Pyrenees mix. He weighs about 65 pounds. He has a medium energy level, is house trained, and working on crate training, but does well out in the house when left alone.   This guy is Mr. Charisma. He loves everyone and everyone loves him.  He loves car rides and walks. Hikes are a big hit with Beary Tree too, but he can be barky when approaching other dogs. He is working on this and is making progress. His fluffy coat is silky soft and invites many pets which works for him since he feels that there are never enough of those.   He loves hanging out in the yard, so a fenced yard is a good idea for this guy. Beary is a very intelligent dog who enjoys having something to do whether it is working on training, hiking, walking or whatever activity you love, he is up for it. On the flip side, he is also a big fan of daytime naps and just hanging out. Beary will do best in a home where he is your one and only four legged family member.   This sweet boy is a joy and loves his people. He is going to be a great addition to a lucky home.
