Story
Meet Jemma: A sweet girl who came to us after being hit by a car and left for dead. A good samaritan found her and reached out for help. Jemma had a broken leg and her body was not accepting the healing of her leg so we had to removed her front leg. Do not let that discourage you from taking a look at her. Jemma gets around just as well as a 4 legged dog. She is great with other dogs, kids and cats! November 17, 2024, 7:49 pm

Story
Hi, I’m Autumn! I’m the last of my litter waiting to find my forever home, and no one can figure out why. I’m smart as can be and have already mastered house training (puppy pads inside, no problem!), walking on a leash, and even commands like “sit” and “stay.” I settle in my crate quickly when left alone and sleep soundly through the night—no midnight shenanigans here! I love snuggling with my foster family and fur siblings, and if you’ve got cheese, you’ve got my full attention. My foster family says I’m the whole package: sweet, smart, and ready to thrive with the right family. Don't keep Autum waiting. Apply for consideration to adopt at www.ruffdogrescue.org  Please note, we receive a large number of applications. We appreciate your patience as we complete our review processes. A personal interview, reference checks, meet and greet with pet, home visit and a solid vet history are required for adoption.  ##2233511##

Story
Hello, future best friend! My name is Joey Nicholas and I cannot wait to give you all the hugs you can handle. I'm a gorgeous Great Pyr/Aussie mix who loves people. If you're searching for a big, fluffy companion, look no further!    I expect a lot of pets from my humans. In fact, I'll conveniently place my head beneath your hand to make it even easier for you. Are you watching a movie on the couch? Move over and I'll give you all the affection you need.    I would love a fenced in yard to run around because when I'm not cuddling, I have energy! So, an apartment home is not a good fit for me. I'm also perfectly potty trained and crate trained and I do really well in the car.    The one thing I cannot deal with is...cats. Even though I'm a big boy, cats are my Kryptonite. Sometimes I don't get along with small dogs, either. (I have lived with a dog sibling before and we were best buds.) But I need a cat-free and tiny-dog-free home please.   Also on my wishlist: a family that enjoys teaching me new tricks because I love training and using my smarts!    Basically, I'm the biggest sweetheart. But don't take my word for it, here's what my best human friends have to say about me: "he's a big love bug and incredibly intelligent." Joey Nicholas is an amazing boy who loves everyone." My foster mom says I'm the most loving and affectionate dog she's ever met and she's so impressed with me.    My new family is in for a treat! An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. We verify rental policies and adhere to any regulations. Please ensure you understand those restrictions before choosing a dog.          January 15, 2025, 7:26 pm

Story
Alaska came to our house in December of 2023. She is a sweet girl but it is painfully obvious our house is not a good fit for her. She needs an outdoor environment that is fenced and big so she can get more exercise. She is not good with our in house cats and dogs and is aggressive towards them. We love her and want a good family who can give her what we aren't able to. We hike her multiple times a week. She is crate trained. She knows basic commands. She is very very loving. But can also be extremely aggressive.

Meet lady! She is a very sweet, low maintenance and happy dog. We love her so much, but are relocating and unfortunately can’t take her with us. Looking for someone who loves dogs. Lady is really a showstopper and wildly sweet. Come meet her!
