We take the dogs that are adopted down...so if a dog is on the website they are available. Obedience training and fully fenced in yard is required for all our pups. Completion certificate for training needs to be emailed once complete. When applying pictures/videos of your fully enclosed yard is needed. If the question is not answered in the bio please send emails to info@HeidisLegacyDogRescue.com URGENT FOSTER NEEDED FOR A GENTLE GIANT, TANK --- ONCE AGAIN BEING LET DOWN BY HUMANS --- Hi everyone, meet Tank – a 4-year-old, 150-pound Great Pyrenees with a heart as big as his paws! ❤️ Tank’s journey has been tough, and he’s been passed around far too many times for a dog who just wants a safe, loving home. This sweet boy has been a devoted friend to every family he's met, but life circumstances have forced him to move again and again. Now, he’s in urgent need of a foster or foster-to-adopt home where he can finally settle down. Tank is a gentle giant with a calm, loving personality. He’s been great with kids, other dogs, and every person he's met! He’s a champion snuggler, loves car rides (head out the window, of course!), and will gladly curl up on the couch to watch cartoons with his favorite humans . Toys? Not really his thing – Tank prefers his teddy bear and long walks , but he’s always up for a cuddle and some quality time with his people. ❤️ Despite his size, Tank is incredibly gentle and well-behaved indoors. He doesn’t need a kennel and can be trusted to relax at home without getting into trouble – though he’s not above a quick trash dive if he spots an open lid! ️ (Beggin' Strips and people food are his weakness! ) He’ll bark to let you know when someone’s at the door but welcomes guests with open paws. Tank’s Story Born in Florida, Tank has been shuffled through homes as owners faced health issues, moves, or housing constraints. He’s resilient, but this gentle boy has been through so much and deserves stability. His current foster took him in from a tough situation where he was nearly homeless, but with a young toddler in the mix, she’s concerned about Tank’s size compared to her little one. ❤️ This beautiful soul deserves a loving home where he can stay for good. He’s a low-key guy with lots of love to give and needs a family who can see beyond his size to the incredible, loyal companion he is.
